    XTEND rubber with pimples out.

    Yasaka has now adopted it's STS Spin Tension System to the short pips out rubber.

    STS increases both speed and spin, just as it did for the successful XTend inverted rubber.

    Hard shots with pips out have a straight trajectory like a missile and they are difficult to return for the opponent.

      True to a German tension short pips, the sheet has good grip, so you can put quite a lot of spin on serves and drives.

      On the other hand, the pips are shaped for speed, and since the hardness isn't too soft either, if you hit it flat you get a slick, gliding knuckleball that holds up well even against something like the Spectol.

      It was a rubber that made knuckleballs easy to produce in a way no other German short pips does.


      The balance between spin and variation was really good, so it's a shame it got discontinued.

      Maybe it lost its place once the Spectol Red came out.

      This is a tension short pips rubber with quick ball release. It doesn't put much spin on the ball, but it produces knuckleballs easily, so while it's tricky for me to use, it's just as tricky for my opponent. Since you can hit without being affected by your opponent's spin, if you have the skill to keep the ball on the table, this rubber can be really strong.

      The Extend has evolved. The Extend has improved in both speed and spin, making it easier to use! In terms of the power behind the ball, it's not impressive at all, but the ball just keeps landing on the table, so you can keep piling the pressure on your opponent!
