I put it on my forehand. Topspin drives, blocks, serves, and smashes are all easy to do with it. Drives especially - you can hit them from close to the table, mid-distance, or even away from the table. The control is just too good.

This rubber keeps the overwhelming spin of the Tenergy 05 while becoming easier to use. I think it works fine on either the forehand or backhand, but if I think about it in terms of players who can really make the most of the regular Tenergy on the forehand, then this one is probably better suited to the backhand. That said, I do think beginner to intermediate players are better off using the FX rather than stretching to use the regular version. Highly recommended for players whose game is built around spin!

It was soft enough to make me wonder if it's really the 05.
That doesn't mean it lacks spin though - if anything, it feels like an improved-spin version of the regular 64.
Some people might say it's not hard enough on the forehand, but for intermediate-level players I think it has plenty of hardness for the forehand!
For chop, it feels like the 05 kept the same amount of spin while becoming more stable.
This suits people who think the 05 is too hard but still want spin, and who are looking for a high-performance rubber that's soft!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used it on my backhand.
It's decent on the forehand too, but it feels like it's missing that extra punch...
But put it on the backhand and it completely transforms!
Backhand drives get sucked deep into the far end of the table with a "whoosh!" and the spin is really strong too!
That said, it's expensive and fragile...
Mine tore from the inside after a little over two months of use.

It's just so soft.
The spin it grips is more than enough, and control was easy.
Because it's soft, the arc right after you hit the ball gets higher, so it takes some getting used to.
Along with a short lifespan, the topsheet also scratches easily. And then there's the price...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It's soft. Especially for men, it lacks power on the forehand. But use it on the backhand and it's a completely different story - the power really comes out! On the backhand you can't generate a really strong impact anyway, so the FX, which bounces well even off a light hit, has the advantage. It's also easy to build a spin-focused game around it, so you could basically call it a backhand-only rubber. It's also easy to block with, so I recommend it! With Tenergy 64 FX it's too soft to chiquita easily, but it's still possible, and with the regular Tenergy 05 it's a bit hard to control, so this one is perfect! But it's expensive...
