Regular Tenergy 05 has a lot of bounce and is hard to control, but the FX doesn't have that feeling of the ball flying out on its own — it's a rubber that matched my own skill level.

Gengar (Experience: ６〜１０ years) A Tenergy suited for backhand

Tried the max thickness on a Harimoto Innerforce Layer ALC. Used it on the backhand, weight was 45.8g.
Being an FX version, it's clearly softer than Tenergy 05. The ball goes where you aim it, so it's very easy to control.
That said, it doesn't fly out as much, which in a good way means it settles down nicely, and blocking is stable.
Against backspin, the softness lets the ball sink into the sponge easily, so it's easy to hit and comes back with a nice arc, but overall the shots tend to land a bit shallow. It's also easy to hit flat, though the spin seems to come on naturally on its own.
With the 05 you could induce mistakes even off blocks, but with the FX that's not really the case since the ball lands shallower. Still, it grips the ball more than a normal rubber would.
It's hard to blast through with one shot, so I think of it more as a rubber for rallying.
Players without a really strong impact can use it fine on the forehand too. Even hitting with just your arm, the shots still had decent power.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It's soft. Basically an upgraded version of Rozena. I think advanced players would do well pairing it with a really stiff blade. Though I guess it's more for intermediate players...

This rubber is ideal for aggressive attacking play (loop drives and blocks) — it's easy to play with, easier than Tenergy 05 for generating spin, and it has plenty of speed whether you're close to the table, at mid-distance, or further back.

The ball sinks in more than with normal Tenergy 05, so the drive is more consistent. It's also easier to control. That said, because the sponge is softer, I think the normal version has more power on the drive.

The stability is fantastic.
It's not too soft, and it generates spin just fine.
All the basic techniques — serve, drive, push, stop, chop — are at a high level with this.
Compared to other Tenergy rubbers it doesn't fly as much, so it stays stable.
If you're using Tenergy for the first time, this is a good one to start with. I think you'll be surprised at how easy it is to use.
If I had to list a downside, it's that because it's so stable, your shots basically never go wild. Just make sure to make up for that with plenty of spin.

Counters and blocks stay on the table,
and flat-hitting techniques are really easy to pull off.
