It's quite hard.
In exchange, it bounces a lot.
Put Hurricane on it and you get some seriously fast balls.
The blade size is bigger than other rackets, so it ends up quite heavy.
Put a tension rubber on it and it flies so much it's almost unmanageable.

Honestly, this isn't a racket for the average player.
If you're going to buy it, it's more of a collector's item.

This is the blade I currently use.
I've used pretty much the whole Hurricane Long series, and every one of them is a blade built purely for speed. The Hurricane Long (Long from here on) is an outer arylate-carbon blade. From Long 3 onward they switched to inner carbon. The blade shape is in the Viscaria family, a bit larger than average, with a harder surface material than the Viscaria. I originally bought this to put a Provincial Hurricane 3 (with the base layer already worn) I'd been given onto it, and I was shocked at how well it bounced even with a Chinese tacky rubber that would normally kill the bounce on most blades. Once the base layer on the Provincial Hurricane wore through it turned into a regular, softer Hurricane rubber, so I'm currently using it with Blue Fire JP01 Turbo instead, and pairing this blade with a tension rubber gives you a bounce that honestly feels almost unfair.
You can blast through with a single topspin drive thanks to the overwhelming speed, and it generates plenty of spin too, sending the ball flying even off a dead ball. The FL handle on the Long is too thin for me, so I use the ST version instead (though I should say I personally find FL handles hard to hold in general, so take that with a grain of salt). That said, control gets tough if your technique isn't already solid. The Long might be a good fit for players using Chinese rubber, or for anyone looking to take their game up a notch.

My first impression was that the sweet spot is on the small side, but when you catch the ball right in the center, how far it flies is right up there even among the Hurricane series. It's for advanced players!

Being an arylate carbon blade, my first impression was just how much it bounces.
If you hit it properly, you get some real speed!
That said, catching the ball right on the sweet spot matters a lot, but when you hit it just right, the feeling is unbeatable.
