It's quite soft. It felt like around 42 degrees to me. The ball leaves the rubber a bit quickly, but you still get spin. Whether you loop it with spin or just hit through it flat, you get a good ball either way. It feels like a rubber with no real weaknesses. There's nothing that stands out about it, but it's really well balanced. Even if you swing at it as hard as you can, it doesn't feel like it's going to drop off the table. I used it on my backhand, but I think it would work on the forehand too. Personally I don't have a lot of power, so I think it suits an all-around style that plays mostly close to the table to mid-distance. Whether on forehand or backhand, I think it suits a type who attacks more with placement and technique than raw power. Sorry for the long review.

It's a bit heavy, but it felt like a great match with a 5-ply blade. Drives go in deep and it feels super stable. It's easy to play the short game with too!

I stretched a bit and switched my backhand on my ALC-type outer blade from Vega Euro to Omega 5 Euro... but I couldn't find anything good about it at all...
I also put it on the backhand of a ZLC-type outer blade but couldn't make it work...
An inner ALC blade was no good either...
When I block, the ball flies off way too far...
Pushes and stops end up going long...
Backhand drives don't get any spin...
The ball leaves the rubber too fast for me, it just didn't work out...
But
when I tried it on the backhand of a slow, all-wood 7-ply blade, it was such a perfect match it felt great — really rock solid.
Blocks stay on the table. Pushes cut well. Stops are controllable. Backhand drives go in (though there isn't much spin...).
It's actually pretty great (-`ω-)b
The only downside is that the market has shifted to Omega 7 as the main product now, so it's gotten hard to find in stores and I can't just grab one on the spot anymore...

I tried this rubber a few times with different thicknesses, and max thickness was definitely the best. Thanks to the non-slip topsheet, the dyna-flick design, and the softness of the sponge, the spin you get when the ball sinks into the sponge was really good. Also, since the sponge is max thickness, the speed went up too, giving the ball more power. The soft sponge also made it easier to control. Personally, it reminded me of FX Tenergy. Even brushing the ball gives strong spin, but compared to celluloid balls, plastic balls give more spin when you really let the ball sink in, so this is truly a rubber built for plastic balls. Give it a try if you're interested.

I had this on my backhand, and it's softer than the 45 degrees the maker states.
So I think it works fine on the backhand too. Flicks are stable, and the chiquita gives just the right amount of spin. On the forehand, serves come out stable with just the right amount of spin as well. I think it suits intermediate to pro level players.
Conclusion········It works on both backhand and forehand, so I think it's easy to use.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this for about a year and overall it was really good!!
But given my playing style, I do wish it had a bit more speed

A certain magazine said this was the closest thing to Tenergy 05 in a lot of responses, so I tried it out.
But it was clearly different from Tenergy.
