      This rubber has almost no bounce at all. But that's exactly what makes it great! You can chop as hard as you want and still get spin, and you can drive hard without overshooting - it's the best!
      If you're using tension rubbers and struggling with overshooting or not enough spin, definitely give this one a try❗

      Neo 3 is so popular that this one kind of flies under the radar, but that's not fair to it at all. Actually, I like this one better. It's got a fair bit of character to it, and I think anyone has a shot with it as long as they don't drift back to mid-distance play.

      I've been using Neo 2 since 8th grade, and I'm still using it now in 11th grade. For a tacky rubber, it's easy to control, the topspin drive bites well, and pushes are easy too - aside from being a bit hard to play when you step back from the table, it's a good rubber.

      I used this mounted on a Timo Boll ALC.
      I've tried the Hurricane 2 series from PRO, DHS, and Nittaku, and this one has the most bounce out of all of them. (Though "bounce" here just means a bit more than a typical high-elastic rubber.)
      Stop: You can stop it short or chop it hard, whichever you like. Compared to tension rubbers it barely bounces at all, so even with some force behind it the ball stays short.
      Push: Both knuckle pushes and heavy backspin pushes are easy to control. For the short game, this is a step above other rubbers.
      Topspin drive: The spin is incredible. It blows blocks away (lol). It's also faster than other Hurricane 2 rubbers - maybe thanks to the pre-treated base sponge.
      Overall: If you've used Hurricane before and can really grip and stroke the ball, I recommend this one. It also lasts a long time. That said, it takes a fair amount of strength to play a flat hitting style with it, so if you're okay with that, give it a try.

      I've been using Souki since high school. I swing it hard, use loops off chops, and the carbon blade makes up for the lack of speed, so it's a rubber I really have no complaints about.

      A friend gave it to me saying, 'It's hard to use, so you can have it,' and I figured, well, if it's free, why not, and started using it. I'd only ever used tension rubbers up to that point, so I was first surprised by how little it bounced. I got fairly anxious inside, thinking 'is this really going to be okay?' But when I hit one drive, it came out with decent speed and an insane amount of spin, producing a heavy ball. My friend, who I was hitting with, got pretty freaked out too and kept messing up his blocks. Hurricane doesn't make the ball fly, but if you put spin on it and think in terms of a 'second gear,' the ball really takes off.
      This rubber looks like it's going to be my partner for a while!
