Hurricane NEO 2 with Neo sponge breaks the limits of water based glue. This rubber has the famous power and control of classical Hurricane 2 and does not require a special tuning. It is recommended for varied fast loop attacks with low ball trajectory. Sponge – Hard. Strategy – OFF.

As expected from Hurricane, the spin is amazing. When you hit a topspin drive, the spin carries it forward. The harder you hit a smash, the faster it goes, so you can control the speed up and down. The serve spin is on another level compared to the 05, lol. Drives are terrifying in both speed and spin when hit hard, but it's difficult to play like that all the time, and it really tests the player's skill. One thing to watch out for is the flick — if you just tap the ball, it drops, so it's best to brush the ball rather than hit it flat. I don't really feel the need to block anymore. If you counter, the ball basically goes in, so with a Hurricane rubber that picks up so much spin, blocking is basically suicide. Once you master Hurricane, table tennis becomes really fun! That said, it's quite hard. NEO3 is actually harder, but NEO2 has stronger friction and worse ball-holding, so it feels much harder. It's definitely a rubber with strong quirks, so it's not something I can say I'd recommend to just anyone.

The sheet has slightly stronger tack compared to neo3, and it doesn't bounce much.■Offense
Topspin drives with a lot of spin always require a strong impact, but compared to neo3, the trajectory arcs even more before landing on the opponent's side.
Also, tacky rubbers tend to give the impression that smashing is difficult, but this rubber feels like it falls into the easier-to-smash category.
Balls a bit away from the table felt tough to handle.■Defense
Pushes have that great spin only a tacky rubber can give, and stops are easy too.
However, blocks and counters seemed strongly affected by the opponent's spin, so it was hard to get the ball to go exactly where I wanted.■Serve
Serves feel like you can place them exactly where you want, and in particular, short, sharply cut backspin serves make for an easy way to start a point — that left a good impression.■Summary
In summary, I'd recommend this to players who stay close to the table and rarely move back, rather than players who move away from it.

This is a rubber where the fully spin-focused, standard Hurricane got a bit more bounce. Hurricane NEO3 really surprised me — a tacky tension rubber that flies this well, and I thought the spin stays just like a strong-tack rubber. But I think this rubber is an evolved version where the spin amount hasn't changed at all from a strong-tack rubber, yet it has a little extra bounce added. It wouldn't be a stretch to call it a Hurricane NEO3 with the spin performance boosted and the bounce toned down. If you want to try a tacky rubber, or if you're already using one, I'd recommend trying either Hurricane NEO3 or NEO2.

I don't think it's all that soft, but I did feel it's become a bit easier to handle.
Being able to put a lot of spin on the ball is great, but that also means you're more strongly affected by your opponent's spin, so there's a tricky side to it too.

I have this on a Large Spear P/R.
On serves, if you brush the ball, it spins and curves a ton. If you dig into it instead, it barely spins at all.
As for drives, my friends say it's slow, but personally I think it's plenty. This rubber has amazing grip on the ball, so if you combine that grip with swing speed and some decent arm strength, you can blast through with incredible speed.
Pushes are tricky, because this rubber itself is very sensitive to incoming spin. I think you just need to read the spin carefully and match your angle when returning it.
Blocking is hard because the ball doesn't sink into the sponge easily. So you can really only block it right after the opponent's drive bounces on your side of the table. Otherwise the ball tends to drop short or float up, which is risky.
I think this rubber has no real problems other than its control. People often say the speed is slow, but I think you can make up for that by pairing it with a bouncy blade. So I'd recommend it to people who are good at driving, or who want to fight with spin.All Speed Spin Control

It's very tacky, and I didn't get that "this isn't quite it" feeling I had with NEO3. Maybe because the pips are low, but it has a firmer feel off the ball. It's not suited to a style where you sink the ball into the sponge. Instead, if you brush the ball, you get that classic Hurricane-style trajectory.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you play a style where you stick close to the table, but if your swing is fast, it grabs the ball ferociously.
That said, I don't think it really suits plastic balls…All Speed Spin Control

It's tackier than NEO3 or Skyline, so it produces more spin, but it doesn't generate much speed, so it might not suit aggressive attacking players.
Over the table and on serves, the spin is incredible — enough to score points with just a push.
If it fits what you're going for, it's extremely easy to use, but I don't think it's for everyone.All Speed Spin Control
