      Simply put, I felt like this sits right in the middle of the Rasanter lineup. The control is good and the spin isn't bad either, so beginner to intermediate players can use it on both forehand and backhand.

      Among the Rasanter lineup, this is a speed-focused, easy-to-use version of the V series.
      Being 42 degrees hard, you can attack with topspin drives without being affected too much by your opponent's spin.
      The one downside would be that it doesn't put quite as much spin on the ball.

      Used on the backhand.
      Living up to the "V for velocity" name, the V series really is fast. But because of that, it's also easy to hit flat, spin-less balls.
      It's quite good for flat hits, but doesn't get much spin.
      Smashes feel quite quick when you hit them. As far as smashing goes, I'd call it a good job.
      It didn't suit me, though. Personally I think it's better used on the forehand.
      If you're going to use it on the backhand, I think it's good to make the forehand a bit harder.
      Please just take this as a reference, though.

      It's a surprisingly bouncy rubber.
      If anything, I find the R42 easier to use.
      Blocks fly long and pushes float up, so control is a bit tricky, so I'd suggest pairing it with a blade that has more controlled bounce.
      If you use it on the forehand, I think it suits a thin blade.

      Used on a Jun Mizutani ZLC.
      I put it on the backhand, and since it's softer than the R47, it was an easy rubber to use!
      It's easy to hit aggressive blocks, and topspin drives come easily too. On pushes, I feel like if you misjudge the power a bit you can overshoot, and it's a little more affected by the opponent's spin!

      This rubber sits right in the middle of the six-rubber Rasanter lineup. It's designed to emphasize a balance of spin, control, and speed, and it suits the backhand. Even if your blocking angle is slightly off, it can still keep the ball in the opponent's court.
      If you're using it on the forehand, I think it's also good for women, kids, or beginners trying a tension rubber for the first time as their second rubber.
