Used on the backhand side.
Blocking is quite easy.
Receiving is easy too.
But since it's soft, you can't deny there's a sense of power loss when you put a strong impact into the ball.
When I try to blast a backhand drive on the third ball, or step back and really rip one, it feels somehow lacking.
Also, the short lifespan is a point against it.
Maybe that's because the top sheet is thin...?

I think it's softer than Tenergy 80 and lets you control the ball more stably.

Used it on my forehand.
When hitting drives, it draws a stable arc and feels pretty good! (both against topspin and backspin)
For blocking too, it's relatively less affected by the opponent's spin.
But serves, pushes, and other short-game techniques are hard with this.
The ball tends to float up relatively easily.
I think people who like soft rubbers will get along with it, but if you're not one of them, I'd recommend using it on the backhand instead.

I used to use Rasant Beat, but since it got discontinued I tried this one on my forehand instead.
As far as feel goes, on light shots I didn't think it was that different from Rasant Beat, but once I hit some drives, the difference was obvious.
First, for a normal drive off topspin, both the spin and speed were improved over Beat.
Also, when hitting a loop drive off backspin, my opponents kept missing long. Even when they did get it back, it would come back floating,
so I could then finish the point with a hard hit.
Countering is also easy, and short-game techniques like flicks and chiquitas are very easy too.
It's slightly harder than Beat, but it has the same reassuring stability, so you can hit with confidence.
I was pretty impressed, but I think it might feel a bit lacking for power hitters, so they'd probably be better off with something like the R50.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It just manages to combine speed and spin at the same time!
I think it sits right in the middle of the Rasanter lineup!

With Rasant fully discontinued, this R42 is the first rubber I've hit with from the Rasanter series. Various sources predicted it would suit intermediate players' backhands, but I felt it doesn't suit players who like to hit flat. If you always sink the ball in and drive forward while adding spin, you get high-quality shots. I also think it would suit people who like a soft rubber on the forehand. For the short game too, once you get used to its unique bounce, it's easy to control. However, it's hard to change the pace of the ball, so it requires real skill.
I think anyone who prefers to grind out rallies rather than go for one big smash would be satisfied with this rubber's performance.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
