Your profile is spin driven. You are looking for maximum grip.
As an advanced to high level player you will benefit from medium 42° sponge hardness taking full control on your spins.
Your style is versatile and you are smart enough to combine top spin potential with a medium soft sponge to guarantee superior feedback and control.
Add some extra speed in your stroke and the R42 will provide the dynamic performance you are looking for.

Vega (Experience: 6〜10 years) Top-of-the-class rubber

Used it on my backhand.
At first the bounce was strong and hard to handle, but I got used to it quickly.
For topspin drives, both brushing and sinking the ball in give good spin, and the ball comes out with real speed. People probably have the image that the short game is hard with this, but it's actually quite easy.
Overall I think it's a well-balanced rubber with the quirks smoothed out.
I highly recommend this rubber for drive players who want both speed and spin. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Used on an inner carbon blade.
On light shots, the softness gives a moderate bounce and a good sense of control, and when you really sink the ball in, the drive arcs through and drives straight in. It was a really comfortable rubber to use.
Before this I was using Vega Asia DF and felt it was similar. The Vega Asia DF grips the ball more on the sheet surface, so even with an imperfect stroke you'd still get a decent shot back, but with the Rasanter, the more fully you swing through, the more the spin seems to increase. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I used to have Rasant on my racket.
Since it got discontinued, I decided to switch.
Within the Rasanter line, the R42 feels like a cross between the Rasant Grip and the Rasant Beat, kind of like splitting the difference between the two.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I normally use VEGA, but decided to try this one out. The feel is similar to VEGA Europe. The spin is at least as good as VEGA Pro. The speed feels a bit more restrained than VEGA Asia.

I switched from VEGA Europe. The sponge hardness is about the same, and the feel is similar in some ways too. For topspin drives and serves, it's easier to put spin on with this one.

I used it glued onto an andro 7-ply blade with a controlled bounce.
The spin performance is outstanding, being part of the R series.
If you have a hard, bouncy blade, I think it'd work fine on the forehand too.
The sheet feels a little slippery, but it's fine as long as you swing through properly! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I put it on my forehand. Even with normal forehand hitting, I could tell the arc was high. For topspin drives, I think you need to really grip the ball well or you won't get much spin.
Since it's the R42, it should be 42 degrees, but it feels softer than that to me.
The feel was on the firmer side. (Like G-1's feel but made even harder.)
I think this rubber is good for people with money to spend, people with power, and people who hit drives by gripping the ball well. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
