Sorry for the sudden intro, but let me tell you a bit about myself. [Tournament results]: Best result was reaching the final 4. [Time using Rozena]: 10 months. Thanks for giving me your valuable time. Now, on to the review. My impression after using it is that it's really well suited to the backhand. At first I used it on my forehand too, but it was too soft and I often overshot my drives. Serves have good spin, but flicks tended to float up, so I couldn't score well in the short game. Right now I'm using a rubber called Tenergy 05. I think Rozena is best suited for players who can drive the ball whether they're close to the table or further back. Yeah. I've talked for a while, but if you read all the way through, give it a try! Preferably on the backhand!!

All-around performance is pretty solid, so it's easy to play a lot of different styles with it.
Stop and block felt especially good.

Using it in thick on my backhand. First of all, since it uses a spring sponge, the bounce is really good. The sponge is soft, so when you sink the ball into it you get a lot of spin and it stays stable. Even players who aren't too confident in their power can hit it in consistently. Compared to Tenergy 05, I did feel the arc was a bit lower, but it's barely an issue. Recommended if you're not sure what to use on your backhand. You won't regret buying it.

I'm a college student with 10 years of table tennis experience. For the forehand, I felt it didn't fit me right away — serves don't get much spin on it, and it's too soft to swing through properly. On the backhand though, it's easy to place the ball where you want, blocking is easy, stops are steady, and if you just want a backhand topspin drive that goes in with spin, it's stable, so I'd recommend it there. If you're around mid-level or below at the prefectural high school tournament, I think Rozena is good for the backhand. Among the softer rubbers, I'd say it's top class.

It has speed, but it bounces so much that it's hard to put spin on the ball and hard to control.
The ball feels like it flies off before it really sinks in.
This isn't a rubber I can recommend for a hardcore topspin drive player like myself.
It might suit someone who's good at quick attacks or counters, though.

The feel on contact is irresistibly pleasant.
It puts out quite a lot of speed. It flies too much, so it's not suited to a beginner's backhand. I didn't feel like it generated much spin.
Basically, I'd recommend using it on the backhand.

About a year and a half after I started playing table tennis,
I got a Timo Boll ALC blade and put the rubber
on both sides at max thickness.
Since it uses a spring sponge,
hitting by sinking the ball in gives you stability.
On serves, too, even a subtle change in angle changes the spin, making it hard for the opponent to read.
