    A LIGHTNING STRIKE

Z1 with its medium pored sponge and a short, wide pimple structure is the hardest and fastest of the three Bluestorm versions.

It has immense power. However, in order to engage with so much horse power competent driver is required behind the wheel. A well trained player, master of the fastest game, will find Z1 to be a lethal weapon.
Topspins with this rubber are quick as lightning!

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a cost-effective tension rubber with excellent value. Speed performance and stability are its main strengths, but users note that it feels softer than its hardness rating and presents challenges in short-range techniques.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior speed performance with excellent ball extension
    • Good spin and stability when hitting with compression
    • Exceptional cost-performance at around 4,000 yen
    • Softer feel than hardness rating makes it easy to handle
    • Short-range techniques like chop tend to float
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveExcellent balance of speed and spin with nice ball output when hitting with proper compression. The performance-to-price ratio around 4,000 yen is exceptionally outstanding.
▽ CriticalThe thin sheet and linear trajectory make short-range techniques like chop floaty and difficult to control effectively.

Not great for grazing shots. To really get the most out of this rubber, you need to sink the ball into the sponge hard, every time. Putting spin on serves is about average. The grip on the ball feels a bit weaker than the V>15, and when you mishit or don't swing all the way through, or when you're grazing the ball, the V>15 wins on both spin and speed. But when you use your whole body to really dig in and swing fast and committed, you get a ball with unbeatable speed and spin. On the flip side, if you can't do that consistently, there's not much point using this rubber. There are plenty of other rubbers out there that make it easier to generate power. It's not a particularly hard rubber to use either — it's pretty manageable — but it only gives "average performance for an average player." Think of it like a huge, heavy axe as a weapon: if you have the power to swing it, it's devastating, but if you don't, it's just dead weight.

I think the closest rubber to this is Rasant V47. If anything, this one is a bit faster. The spin is about the same.

I was hooked the moment I tried it. The attacking power and spin are insanely good. The sponge is thick, so it flies too much. Once you get used to it, it's the ultimate weapon.

It really flies. It's best used for a fast-attacking style, but it does have some all-round qualities too.

It is stable. But not as much as other users have written.

My impressions after trying it at a trade show. The speed and spin are amazing, and it flies a lot too. But it also has plenty of grip on the ball, so it's well suited to plastic balls and lets you unleash power drives to your heart's content.

I got to try this out. It's just fast, period. Blue Fire M1 Turbo used to be the fastest for me, but now this one is easily the fastest.
