Z1 with its medium pored sponge and a short, wide pimple structure is the hardest and fastest of the three Bluestorm versions.
It has immense power. However, in order to engage with so much horse power competent driver is required behind the wheel. A well trained player, master of the fastest game, will find Z1 to be a lethal weapon.
Topspins with this rubber are quick as lightning!

This rubber is on the firmer side, made with speed as the priority.
That said, it does still put spin on the ball.
It's not really suited to a composite blade, but something like an Infinity VPS V might be just right for it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Put it on the backhand. It's cheaper than Bluefire, and performs better too, so it's a great deal. Chiquita also comes out noticeably faster, and I can put heavy spin on the ball.

Like Rasant, it goes with a thinner topsheet and a thicker sponge. Feels like more German rubbers are going to follow this trend.
Speed and spin are both at a really high level. The sponge is on the harder side at 47.5, but it sinks in nicely and it was very easy to put spin on the ball. Because the topsheet is thin, it can slip a bit when you graze the ball. But the sponge makes up for that in a lot of good ways too. Serve receives also cut really well. It's very similar to Rasant R47, but this one is more reasonably priced, which makes it easier to pick up. Personally, if you're the type to flick and graze on the forehand and just swing away freely, it's close to Tenergy. I put it on the forehand of my Innerforce ZLC, with Rasant R50 on the backhand. The green sponge and blue sponge together look amazing. For students who want Rasant but are a little short on cash, this series is a great option. Just my personal take, but Z1 on the forehand and Z2 or Z3 on the backhand would be good.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

For a defense-oriented player like me, it wasn't that great a fit. I think it's good for attacking players. That said, the performance wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

It's not as hard as I expected, so it's easy to use. The spin is amazing, and drives land consistently.
Because of that, the control is great and it's easy to use. It handles everything from small touches to big shots!!

I got to hit with Shiono at a pre-release demo event, and I honestly couldn't wait for it to come out. The sponge thickness has changed, and it's actually pretty similar to andro's Rasant series, though the speed and such feel a lot like the R.

I really want to recommend this to anyone who wants Tenergy 05 but thinks it's too expensive!
It grabs the ball well. The speed is even better than 05.
The spin is a little less than 05, but you barely notice the difference. The trajectory is a bit flatter, but it's still easy to create an arc.
Weight is not an issue at all, if anything it's light. I haven't measured it so I can't say for sure, but at the same 2.1mm thickness it feels about the same as Tenergy 05.
Getting this kind of performance for almost half the price of Tenergy, I'm very happy.
The one downside is that it doesn't last very long. That's another way it resembles Tenergy. Well, it's cheap, so I'll let that slide.
Usually with new German rubbers, I try them once, get disappointed, and never buy again, but this one was different. First time in a while I've gone back for a repeat buy from a German brand.
I'd recommend the 2.1mm over MAX. Unless you're the kind of player who's used to going to nationals, I don't think you can really handle the MAX version, even the 2.1mm bounces a ton.
Also, if you're putting it on, I'd only use it on the forehand; for the backhand I think a slightly softer rubber works better. When I put it on both sides, it felt too hard to me.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
