Z1 with its medium pored sponge and a short, wide pimple structure is the hardest and fastest of the three Bluestorm versions.
It has immense power. However, in order to engage with so much horse power competent driver is required behind the wheel. A well trained player, master of the fastest game, will find Z1 to be a lethal weapon.
Topspins with this rubber are quick as lightning!

I think this is a wonderful rubber! Compared to buying something fairly pricey like Tenergy or Omega 7,

Using MAX+ thickness on the forehand.
I used to use Rozena, but it was too soft and I often lost power when hitting hard shots, so I switched this time.My first impression after hitting with it: it flies!! That's really the only word for it.
It's also easy to put spin on, and my practice partner said the ball has more life on it than before.
I've also had fewer easy misses on smashes compared to before, which made table tennis fun again.
I didn't find the short game especially hard to handle either, so I think I'll keep using this one for a while.The one thing that bugs me is that it's a little hard to tell where the center is when you're gluing the rubber on.

This is a review for MAX+ thickness on the forehand.
It has great grip on the ball, spins well, and it's a pretty fast rubber. The distance you get is considerable.
When you really sink the ball into it for a topspin drive, the trajectory is fairly straight and the speed is incredible.
On the other hand, when you brush the ball more, the speed is more modest but you get a lot more spin, so it's easy to vary your shots.
Since it has a decent amount of hardness, meeting the ball also feels really good.That said, since the range is quite long, I don't think you really need MAX+ thickness. Even with a plain wood blade you can have plenty of margin playing away from the table, though close to the table it takes a bit more care. I imagine it would fly way too much with a special-material blade. Since it has good grip on the ball, hitting against backspin and pushes are also easy.
Despite specs that make it grip the ball fast, the short game is calmer than you'd expect (not easy, but calmer), so I'd recommend it for players who want to push forward with speed. The harder you hit, the more ball-holding feel you get from this rubber.
Well, I've written a lot here, but what's really amazing is the value for money.

I used the black MAX+ on my forehand.
First off, the blue sponge looks awesome!!
I was worried it might be too hard and heavy, but the hardness was just right and the weight wasn't an issue at all.
From basic hitting to light touches like stops and serves, to hard shots like drives and topspin rallies, everything was easy to do, and when I sank the ball in, it flew out with a really nice arc.
It's an easy-to-handle, powerful rubber with nothing to complain about.

I put Z1 on my forehand and Z3 on my backhand. The side of my blade is blue, so I figured the blue sponge would match, and that's why I bought it. Just as I pictured, it looked really cool!! Spin and speed are excellent, and it's easy to use. Driving against backspin was super easy! It's cheap too, so I'd like to buy it again.

Maybe because the topsheet is thin, it feels softer than the hardness rating suggests. The sheet is nice and squishy. Even light taps feel like a solid hit right from the start. Really satisfying.
Compared to Bluefire JP01, this feels like a somewhat toned-down rubber overall. Speed and spin drop off a little, but it gives a very easy-to-use impression. The weight (just going by the feel when swinging the blade) also seems lighter than other spin-oriented tension rubbers.
In the short game, pushes and flicks give a good impression, but stops tend to float up a bit. You might need to work on cutting across the ball or shifting the spin axis to control that.Drives are easy to put in, and close to mid-distance the power is on par with Bluefire, but the gap starts to show once you get further from the table. Speed drives fly on a flat trajectory. Loops arc nicely. It's also easy to vary chiquita shots.
Meet-hitting is good too. Blocking in particular is easy, you can stop the ball nice and cleanly, and with just a little push it flies off almost like a counter.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's softer than I expected, and control was great. The speed is really fast, I was even told it looked fast just from the warm-up rallies before the match. Smash power is high too, and when I sank the ball in for a drive, I got really good shots. As for spin, I used to use a tacky rubber, so of course it doesn't spin as much as that, but I'd say it spins pretty well considering how fast it is. Serves cut well too. At around 4000 yen, I thought this was the best value-for-money rubber out there.
