Z1 with its medium pored sponge and a short, wide pimple structure is the hardest and fastest of the three Bluestorm versions.
It has immense power. However, in order to engage with so much horse power competent driver is required behind the wheel. A well trained player, master of the fastest game, will find Z1 to be a lethal weapon.
Topspins with this rubber are quick as lightning!

The ball sinks in nicely and it spins well, but it's also easy to just meet the ball.
(Though the spin is a bit lacking compared to other tension rubbers.)
The topsheet is surprisingly firm with few pimples.
Personally I'd recommend this rubber for the backhand side.

Used on the backhand side.
I've used it for about a month and it's already started getting that white powder and shine.
(Though that might just be because of the weather, from the rainy season into midsummer.)
Performance-wise, no complaints at all.

It really comes down to one word: amazing.
Drives come out fast, the hardness and grip on the ball are just right, and it spins well too. And the stability is on another level. I switched to this on the backhand from Super Ventus, and it's faster than Super Ventus while being just as stable.
The only thing is the short game feels like it has a bit less spin. It's stable, but even if you really rip a push, you don't get all that much spin on it. Still, I think it has the potential to make up for that.

It flies in a straight line. Because of that, I felt unsure using it on the forehand against backspin. However, when I used it on the backhand, it was stable with just the right amount of speed. Blocking especially was strong, both in stability and in how the ball carries.
I could also hit chiquita (or is it "irerata"?) without worrying about it dropping short.

I switched over from Bluefire JP01!
Honestly, even though it's the same 47.5°, the Z1 lets the ball sink into the sponge nicely, so it's easier to avoid your chops going wild. Because it absorbs the ball, it's easy to use not just for chopping but for blocking too!You might think that if it lets the ball sink in that well, the spin must be weaker than a harder rubber,
but it didn't lose out compared to JP01 either. Whether it's because it's easy to use or because it just suits me... maybe thanks to being the same 47.5°, I got the ball to spin properly on pushes and chops too✴Since the Bluestorm series was originally designed for the backhand,
the stability and grip on the ball are a real help on the backhand too✴The downside is that, more than the grip on the ball, people who like a chop-heavy style or prefer harder rubbers might find it too soft.

My impression after hitting with it:
it flies a ton. The topsheet is hard and the sponge is on the firm side too, so the ball leaves the rubber quickly. So if someone who can make solid impact uses it, they'll get a rubber that spins well and produces speed, but if you can't make solid impact, the ball flies off before it picks up spin and you end up with a knuckleball-like drive with no spin, so it's a tricky rubber to handle. Still, for the price it spins well and produces good speed, so I'd recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

If you can get into topspin rallies with this, you won't lose, lol. Though it seems hard to get to that point. It looks like it has no spin, but it actually does. It's the kind of rubber where that weird phenomenon happens.
