Hurricane 2 keeps the powerful style since Wang Liqin won the Olympic Games Championship in 2000. Hurricane 2 can create much higher speed and spin whilst maintaining stable control. In addition, it generates strong near-table offensive power to make the ball fly in a low arc which frustrates opponent's defenses.

Hurricane 2 enhances the spin of 40+ Celluloid-Free T.T. balls..

Kyohyo 2 is characterized by outstanding spin performance, but lacks speed and bounce, making it suitable for front-court techniques and cut play. However, it is unsuitable for players seeking back-court attacks, requiring high technical skill to maximize its potential.

      The spin is really incredible.
But it doesn't have much speed.
On top of that, it's also hard to control, so I think this rubber is suited for advanced players.

This is a combination of a highly tacky sheet with a hard sponge, which you could call the classic tacky rubber setup. The short game is easy to use - you can stop the ball short and put a lot of spin on it - but attacking shots like topspin drives and smashes are harder to use since it's tough to add speed and the rubber is easily affected by incoming spin.
That said, counter-style blocks felt easy to use since they let you take advantage of the opponent's power.

Comparing this to the rest of the Hurricane series.

First, it's the tackiest in the whole series.

That definitely means more spin too. The sponge is also hard.

Serves bite well too. It doesn't have much speed though. You have to make up for that with spin.

Once you get the hang of both regular and knuckle topspin drives, it's amazing.

The downside, same as the rest of the Hurricane series, is smash stability.

You just have to make up for it with technique.

It doesn't bounce much. But in exchange it grips a lot of spin. It's also quite tacky.

It puts on so much spin that I'd bet even some choppers use this.

But it really doesn't bounce. I'd recommend it to people who like to power through with spin.

Serves, chiquitas, topspin drives - all of them get a ton of spin.

It spins more than Hurricane 3, so I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't like how much the Hurricane 3 bounces.
