Hurricane 2 keeps the powerful style since Wang Liqin won the Olympic Games Championship in 2000. Hurricane 2 can create much higher speed and spin whilst maintaining stable control. In addition, it generates strong near-table offensive power to make the ball fly in a low arc which frustrates opponent's defenses.
Hurricane 2 enhances the spin of 40+ Celluloid-Free T.T. balls..
- Pimples in

A rubber that feels hard. The spin is amazing, but it's also easily affected by your opponent's spin. For counters, it goes in easily if you play them like you're re-applying your own spin. Since the rubber is hard, the feel on the backhand side changes. And the ball also releases from the backhand side faster. Because it's hard, chops don't float up. Serves also bite easily.

With the Hurricane 2, the amount of spin on my serves is so intense that everyone seems to hate playing against me (might just be me imagining it lol).
Even so, when I do a sidespin serve, the ball curves about 40 degrees. No complaints at all when it comes to spin.
On the other hand, it lacks bounce and speed. But it's not that terrible - I'd say it's about 3/5 compared to a normal rubber.
If you put it on a chopper's blade, it might polish up the spin even more. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is basically "the" Hurricane rubber. Isn't it maybe the sharpest-biting rubber in the whole table tennis world? Along with that, it just doesn't bounce at all. It's great for a chopper who chops close to the table (lol), or for an attacking player who pushes through with sheer spin, but you absolutely need to hit it with real impact!

This has the strongest tack in the whole Hurricane series, and it just does not bounce. If you back away from the table, the ball feels like it won't go in, so playing close to the table is a must. Serves bite hard, and receives are easily affected by spin. This is truly the definition of a Chinese rubber.

This is my first time using a proper tacky rubber.
I practiced with the new plastic ball, the Butterfly G40+ 3-star, and it felt pretty great.
The sheet is hard so it demands a good swing, but it feels a lot better than a mediocre tension rubber - you can return serves with topspin drives or flicks just fine.
Smashes come out slow, so you might just have to build up your swing power...
The rubber itself is heavy, but I think it's a top-tier tacky rubber that you can enjoy once you build up the strength for it.All Speed Spin Control

It's quite tacky. Since it's the kind of rubber where you generate spin just from the surface tackiness, you might actually be able to turn the lack of speed to your advantage (?).
It's also easily affected by incoming spin, so control is difficult. All Speed Spin Control

With a normal hitting style it doesn't bounce at all.
But if you brush up on the ball, it flies.
With other rubbers the tackiness fades over time, but the Hurricane 2 has the strongest tack and it lasts the longest.
Honestly, for max thickness I don't mind an imported version, but the strength of this one is that you can choose thin, medium, or thick and buy it in stores. All Speed Spin Control
