I put Tenergy 05 and Q3 on an Innerforce Layer ZLC (CS handle) and test-hit with both on the backhand.
Despite the 47-degree hardness rating, the feel on the ball came across as soft. Maybe because of that softness, the control was excellent, and I got the impression I could place the ball exactly where I aimed. Drives stay low and land deep in the opponent's court.
This rubber is well balanced at a high level across the board technically, and its spin, control, and power are more than enough to satisfy an intermediate-to-advanced player.
If I had to name a weakness, it might be slightly lacking in speed for an advanced player's forehand.
For a drive-focused player, it's a solid option for an intermediate player's forehand or an advanced player's backhand.
I'd bet plenty of intermediate-to-advanced players will find this rubber suits them even better than Tenergy.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I borrowed this from a senior teammate to try it out, and it gets an insane amount of spin.
I felt it was especially easy to produce backspin serves and pushes.
However, compared to a tacky rubber, if you don't put power into the drive, the ball drops into the net. (Mine dropped constantly.)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I realized I never actually reviewed this. A friend of mine uses it. I used it myself once too... The performance is high and good, but back then I just couldn't handle it well. My playing style is to finish the point before a long rally develops, and with Q3 the drive power just wasn't quite... Blocking and countering are easy, but it was a bit lacking in one-shot power... The performance itself is high, though, so it's a rubber worth picking up.

Meathead drive man (Experience: ２〜３ years) The best rubber

Thick sponge on the forehand. This is the best rubber I've ever used. First off, the speed is just crazy. Even with a full swing close to the table, the ball lands on the table just fine. It's good in the short game too. Despite the speed, stops bounce lightly, about 4 times, and flicks almost never miss. The spin is plenty too. That said, with Rakza 9 thick on the backhand plus grip tape, side tape, and two layers of power tape, it comes to 220g, so I can't recommend it to people who can't swing hard; it also seems like a lot of people find the performance too sharp-edged and hard to handle. Oh, and it's expensive too.

Lost in equipment choices (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Hard

This is a hard rubber. It handles like a tension rubber, but the feel on the ball is like a Chinese rubber. I used it expecting it to be like the GFT series, but it turned out to be a completely different rubber.
Because it's hard, it's easy to put heavy backspin on serves. It really bites into the ball. Because of the hardness it doesn't sink into the ball much for fine short-game touches, so stops also hold well.
The topspin drive gets good spin too. Its max spin is on par with Tenergy 05; compared to Tenergy the drive tends to come out a bit shallower, but it's also easy to aim deep, so it was easy to throw off the timing of an opponent's block.
I felt this is a rubber where you can really control the sharpness of both spin and depth yourself.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Used on my backhand (2.0mm)
My blade is a Mizuno, and I heard this is a rubber that suits Oshima's backhand, so I decided to buy it. Though at this year's All Japan Championships, Oshima actually had Tenergy on his backhand, not Q3.
First off, it's bouncy. Even light hits bounce almost too much. The feel is close to Tenergy — not too hard, on the slightly-harder-than-average side — but the topsheet grips the ball nicely and produces good speed.
In my experience, when you really put your own power into a shot, you get some really nice ace balls out of it. The difference from Tenergy is that Tenergy spins the ball almost automatically, whereas with Q3 you need to hit it properly yourself to get a good ball. Using its good bounce, it has real power on counters and blocks.
I used the 2.0mm version, but if I'd used the 1.8mm, my impression might have been a bit different.
My overall impression was that it bounces so well I couldn't quite handle it. Since it's such a bouncy rubber, it might pair well with a 5-ply blade or a thin-carbon blade that tones the bounce down a bit. I think this is a rubber whose power-generating potential can really be drawn out by adjusting the balance with the right blade.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Hi everyone, out of curiosity I tried this rubber, red 2.1mm, on my Garaydia ALC blade. How good is this rubber? It's excellent for counter-topspin and pushing, it gives really good underspin on serves, medium/high-medium speed on a slow topspin, and medium-to-fast speed on a fast topspin. The sponge hardness is rated 47°, but it feels harder than R47 or Bluestorm Z1. Faster than Tenergy 05 — really nice work from Mizuno Japan!
