I put this on my wife's blade for a while.
I don't normally use short pips rubber, but I put it on my wife's blade and tried it out.
This is just my personal impression, but compared to Spectol, it's softer, and despite the bounce it was easy to control. It also took on spin easily, and the fast knuckle shots typical of short pips rubbers were easy to produce.
If I were a short pips user myself, I'd definitely choose this rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's a spin-oriented short pips rubber, but with the straight pip pattern it's also easy to produce knuckle balls. Smashing is easy and you can hit drives too. It's a versatile rubber you can use on both forehand and backhand.

I used this on a Joo Se Hyuk blade, and found both drives and chops very easy to handle.
The amount of spin loses out to inverted rubber, but I think it's still on the higher side. I found loop drives easy to hit.
I also felt it was easy to control for short-game techniques like pushes.
Since it's not easily affected by incoming spin, blocking is also easy. It's nice that the price is reasonable too.All Speed Spin Control

Since a Japan League player, Oshima, was using this and I got interested, I tried it, but it bounced too much for me. My chops had a lot of over-the-table misses.
That said, I think it becomes a really easy rubber to use for an attacking player!
Since it's a tension-type short pips rubber, it grabs the ball and springs off from there, so attacks from over the table to close to the table are stable, and it produces fast blocks that make for balls that are hard to deal with. It's a straight-pip short pips rubber, but I think it's worth trying at least once if you use tension-type short pips rubbers.

For a short pips rubber, it takes on a fair amount of spin. You can hit topspin drives with it too, to some extent.
Since the sponge is soft, blocks and flicks are also easy to do.
But it can't be helped that knuckle shots are hard to produce. All Speed Spin Control

I think this is on the bouncier side for short pips rubber.
It puts on spin well, so serves have a good bite.
Blocks are easy too, and attacking shots go in easily, but it feels like it's hard to produce knuckle balls.
So it should suit players who like to take the initiative and attack themselves. All Speed Spin Control
