    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The Bluefire Big Slam is highly praised for its excellent grip and ball contact sensation, particularly excelling in backspin techniques and chiquita on the backhand side. However, it is better suited for intermediate to advanced players rather than beginners lacking physical strength.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional grip sensation and ball support like holding a ball directly
    • Backspin and chiquita techniques become remarkably easier on backhand
    • Strong grip with sufficient spin and produces sharp shots
    • Soft rubber not suitable for beginners but ideal for intermediate+ players
    • Similar to Butterfly Rozena with superior grip strength
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveProvides the sensation of catching and throwing a serve directly by hand. The ball support is excellent and control becomes exceptionally easy.
▽ CriticalBackspin techniques are slightly difficult with a challenging learning curve, making it unsuitable for beginners lacking strength. Intermediate players risk developing bad habits.

Yukito (Experience: 11〜20 years) For elementary schoolers aiming for the top

      Reviews by user

I felt like this rubber isn't really for beginners, but more for people without much muscle strength, like elementary schoolers or women's players.
It's marketed as "Big Slam", but I feel like it doesn't make as much sound as other sound-focused rubbers.
That said, it's very soft, so it's easy to sink the ball into it.
I don't think I'm really the right fit for this rubber,
but for elementary schoolers or women's players, the softness gives just the right hardness for them,
and since it keeps the grip strength of the Bluefire series, I don't think spin amount would be lacking either.
For someone graduating from beginner level who'd use something like Vega Europe instead, the grip here is a bit strong, so I'm a little worried it could lead to picking up bad wristy-hitting habits.

The ball just sinks right into it. It gives you the illusion that you're basically holding the ball directly in your hand. Imagine catching your opponent's serve with your bare hand and just throwing it back — that's the kind of feeling this gives you. It's a rubber that lets you pull off short-game technique like it's borderline unfair.

I used this on my backhand. It's a ton of fun. The feeling of holding onto the ball is amazing, so it's incredibly easy to control. That's Donic for you.
Though this is a rubber I don't want other people to use. It's just too strong.

It makes a satisfying sound and produces sharp shots. The downside is the short game is a bit tricky, but you can work through that with practice. The feel takes a bit of getting used to, so it's suited for intermediate to advanced players.

Takuto (Experience: 2〜3 years) Probably best for the backhand

      Reviews by user

I only hit lightly with it, but the short game is super easy! But it's got speed too, so it's a rubber I don't really want other people to know about ( ´艸`) This one's borrowed from a friend, so I'm about to order my own.

My friend liked it even more than I did. Perfect for the backhand. It puts a decent amount of spin on the ball too, so it's easy to finish points on the backhand.

Put this on my backhand. The chiquita is really easy to do with it. It's similar to Butterfly's Rozena. Bluefire has way more grip though.
