Personally I think this rubber outperforms other rubbers in every aspect — spin, speed, and control — but it's the player who brings out a rubber's potential, so using it won't automatically make a beginner better. To put it more bluntly, it's almost impossible for a beginner to unlock this rubber's full potential.
If you can understand that, please go ahead and read my review.This Tenergy 64 FX is, as you'd expect, slower than the regular 64.
But because it's softer, you can sink the ball in and hit it, which I think makes your overall play more stable.
Also, attacking in the short game has gotten easier. You can get stable spin and control from any position — front, back, left, or right.
However, in fast-paced rallies it tends to lose out on power.I've said some pretty strong things up front, but I don't mean "beginners shouldn't use this rubber" — I just want you to understand what kind of rubber this is as you level up and try out various rubbers along the way.

With Tenergy 64, my blocks flew off the table because the trajectory was too flat, so I switched. The FX makes it easier to draw an arc and block! I lost a little bit of speed, but it's stable and I really like it! Still, it's a Tenergy after all — plenty fast, and it gets spin too. However, being softer, it lost the insensitivity to incoming spin that the 64 had. Also, it's easy to vary the speed, and you can do fine techniques like stops well too! I recommend it!

Compared to other rubbers in the Tenergy series, both the sponge and the sheet are soft, so you can feel the ball being held not just by the sheet but by the sponge too.
Using it on the backhand feels stable, the control is good, and it's easy to use.All Speed Spin Control

Among the Tenergy series, I especially recommend this for the backhand.
When you get a chance ball, it goes in sharp and straight.
It doesn't spin as much as the 05, but it has speed.

This adds even more stability to the already attack-friendly Tenergy 64, so your smashes land exactly where you're aiming. So I think it's worth trying before switching to Tenergy 64.

With the regular 64, I couldn't put on as much spin as I wanted using just the topsheet without sinking the ball into the sponge, but with the FX, it's easy to sink the ball in, so it puts on even more spin.
The rebound power is quite strong, so even though the sponge is soft, the speed is still quite high.

The speed is insane. It puts on spin too, and on top of that it's easy to control. This was my first time using Tenergy, and now I get why everyone raves about it.
