I put this on a Tomokazu Harimoto SUPER ZLC and gave it a test hit!
To cut to the conclusion, it was disappointing.
For the price, the performance felt like something other rubbers could match.
Both the sponge and topsheet are soft, so the speed isn't great. And it's not like it generates a ton of spin either, so I think junior high/high schoolers and adults would find it lacking. That said, the control is outstanding. I test-hit it with a carbon blade this time, but with a wooden blade I imagine it would feel really mushy (in terms of the feel off the ball).
In the end, if you have a decent amount of power, you'll probably feel like something's missing.

I heard a famous player used this on their backhand around age 13, so I switched my backhand from Rozena.
I'd also heard that for intermediate players, the 64 is easier to handle than the 05 or 80.Impressions
It's overwhelmingly easy to use. It feels like I can do everything from basic techniques on up with it.
I regret having avoided it for so long.It's true that the 64 is great for the backhand.

It's soft, so you get speed even with a light swing.
The stability on blocks and smashes is outstanding. If you put unnecessary power into your topspin drive it'll go long over and over, which actually makes it easier to learn the right feel.
On the backhand it has enough stability to let you get by mainly with blocks while still being able to attack on your own terms when you want to, so I'd especially recommend it to players with that kind of style.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I use this on my backhand and switched from 05 to 05 FX. Close to the table, it's soft, so blocks and counters are easy. But if you back away from the table, even a full swing doesn't get much on it, so shots land short and you end up getting attacked instead. I'd recommend 05 FX for players without much power, or for players who play close to the table.

I use this on my backhand. You don't need to force it — this rubber works on feel. If you put too much power into it, the ball goes long for no reason. The short game, pushes, and backhand drives are all easy with it. And it has a lightness you don't get with other tension rubbers. When you make a mistake, it's easy to tell what went wrong, so it's easy to fix. The stability is outstanding, so I think this is a great fit for technical, finesse-oriented players.

Everyone says Tenergy wears out fast, but I've been using Tenergy 64 FX for over a year now and it still works just fine.

The speed you get even with a light swing is the best in the whole Tenergy series!!
It has excellent control, so counter-blocking is easy too.
