It's fast, sure, but it also puts a huge amount of spin on the ball. And on top of that, you can still control it! It's a rubber with no weak spots when it comes to the basic techniques.

It feels soft to the touch, but felt firm when actually hitting with it. Also, when you sink the ball in, you get solid spin, and when you brush it, it naturally slides. I think it's a short-pips rubber that grips like inverted rubber and slides like long pips, making it easy to use from beginner to advanced level.

My main setup now is inverted rubber on both sides, but there was a time when I used this as my main backhand.
It gets a good amount of spin "for short pips."
It's an easy rubber to switch to when coming from inverted.Its strengths are speed and control.
Fast shots fly nice and straight,
and hitting flat with it feels great!
Speed counters land nicely too.
Returning topspin drives is also pretty easy with this.
It cancels out the opponent's spin just the right amount and lets you return with a low trajectory.I haven't tried a huge variety of rubbers, but
this is my favorite among short pips, and I still keep it on my blade to play around with.
You can more or less get by using inverted-rubber strokes with it too, so I think it's worth trying even if you play inverted rubber on both sides.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It puts on enough spin that switching from inverted rubber to short pips feels natural, no awkwardness at all. If you're looking for short pips that can still do topspin drives, this is a solid choice.
Also, the knuckle effect is really strong.
Just rallying normally, your opponent will end up hitting the net.
During topspin rallies, being able to freely control the ball — pushing the opponent's drive back or dropping it short with a stop — is another feature of this rubber.

I used this back in junior high.
Speed glue was still allowed back then, so I'd apply glue until the sheet curled up.The speed and knuckle-ball performance were on another level.
There are other rubbers out now that bounce well too, but even so, this is still a perfect choice for beginners.
Definitely give it a try!

The sponge has good bounce and the ball sinks in nicely, and the topsheet also has good grip, so it feels very easy to put spin on the ball.
Small techniques like pushes and stops are easy to add spin to as well, and chiquitas are easy too.Knuckle balls don't just happen naturally by simply touching the ball, but if you hit it flat and straight, you can produce them easily.
On top of being easy to use, it has vertical pips that give it that classic short-pips feel, so it's a perfect rubber for switching over from inverted rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Super easy to use, period!
The topsheet has surprisingly good grip on the ball, so pushes and topspin drives work reasonably well too.
At the same time, it's easy to produce knuckle-ish blocks and smashes, so I think this rubber lets you fully experience what makes short pips fun.
Since it's not a tension rubber, you get more of a sense that you're controlling the ball yourself, which makes it a great choice for someone starting out with short pips.
