This was the first rubber I put on when I bought my first competition-grade blade. I use it on both sides.
I compared it against Mark V and Ventus Basic, which I found while researching beginner rubbers, and GTT45 grips the ball better and wasn't difficult to use at all.
That said, like other reviewers have said, I do think it would have been even better if you could choose the thickness…All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The performance is well beyond the price. The topsheet grips the ball well, and since the sponge is thin, you can really put solid spin on the ball. That said, speed is a bit hard to come by. It's a perfect fit for beginner to intermediate players' backhands.

I use the thick version on the B side.
The ball sinks in really well and it's well balanced, so drives go in stably.
In matches, it's really popular with junior high players (first-years even), and has continued to be loved by junior high players!
So while it's not exactly an all-around rubber, I can really recommend it to people with one to two years of table tennis experience!
By the way, among junior high players, the most common combo I saw was Rigan (with spin too) on the F side and GTT45° on the B side, so please do give that a try! ("There were also plenty of people who did it the other way around")All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The topsheet is on the softer side, so you can really put spin on the ball and still control it well!
The speed felt a bit lacking to me, but for the price, I thought this was a really high-quality rubber!
Also, Andro just looks cool, you know lol
As for weight, I think this rubber is pretty light!

Turtle A rubber that reminds you why table tennis is fun

I had been using flagship models like the V15 Extra, but
I decided to try dropping down to an easier rubber for once, and used it on both forehand and backhand.It depends on the blade too, but as long as you don't drop too far back from the table,
the distance doesn't really bother you that much.
The short game is pretty easy to play!If you just swing, it goes in stably, so
if your playing style is about pressing your opponent with rapid-fire shots,
it might be worth trying out.

Performance-wise, it's pretty much perfect in every way
But since it doesn't come in a thick option, it doesn't give you much speed.

Takoyaki Taro (Experience: ４〜５ years) Old-style thin Sriver

I picked up table tennis again after about 30 years away. Back in the day I played with thin Sriver on a single-ply blade, mostly close-to-the-table quick attack with angle shots and knuckle blocks.
Coming back to it after all this time, Sriver has become the EL version and gotten softer, and in thin it barely gives you any speed at all (the 40mg plastic ball is scary). If I use a tension rubber, it only comes in thick, and my blocks end up going long.
Right around then I happened to try GTT45, and even though it's thin, it still gives plenty of speed, blocks stay in, and drives get spin on them. It genuinely feels just like hitting the old plain Sriver with a 38mm celluloid ball.
I also tried rubbers costing two or three times as much, but none of them could beat this one.
This is the perfect rubber for anyone who used to play table tennis and is picking it back up after a long break.
It's positioned as a beginner rubber, but I'd say it's advanced players who should really be using it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
