    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
A cost-performance champion supported by beginners to intermediate players alike. While praised for its excellent sheet grip and ease of handling, it faces challenges with speed limitations and the availability of only one thickness option (1.6mm).
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • High control performance that even beginners can handle easily
    • Excellent sheet grip makes spin application straightforward
    • Outstanding cost-performance ratio exceeding its price point
    • Lacks speed generation with limited thickness options
    • Particularly praised as ideal for backhand usage
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe performance quality far exceeds the price, with excellent sheet texture providing reliable grip for backhand shots without being affected by opponent spin. This price point normally applies to rubbers costing 5000-6000 yen.
▽ CriticalOnly available in 1.6mm thickness, which limits speed generation. Beginners may find the ball launching before adequate spin application when attempting to lift backspin balls.

Novice kid (Experience: 4〜5 years) This is outstanding!

If you're up to intermediate level, you don't need any other rubber — this is enough! If I had to nitpick, it would be the perfect rubber if it came in "thick."

It's only sold in "medium," but the speed and spin are both better than you'd expect for the price. If I'm being greedy, when playing mid to far from the table you fall a bit short on distance, so having a thick or above option in the lineup would make drives and lobs from farther back easier.

Put this on both sides, or on the backhand with GTT40 on the forehand, and you get a well-balanced racket. It handles drives against backspin without any trouble, and while the raw numbers for speed and spin aren't huge, the performance is more than enough. I'd say it's on par with the Hexer.

It's really easy to serve short and low with this. You can control your drives and smashes really well too. Thanks in part to this rubber, I made it to the prefectural tournament.

So many different techniques are really easy to pull off with this!
I thought it deserved to be more popular!
But it's a shame it only comes in medium thickness

This is my review after using it for two months. (Backhand)
First of all, getting this level of performance for around 3000 yen is amazing.
Drives go in just fine too.
The short game is easy to play as well.
The only downside is that it only comes in a thin sponge thickness, so
please give it a try at least once.

I like table tennis ☆ (Experience: 6〜10 years) The ultimate value-for-money rubber!

      Reviews by user

I used this on my backhand. When you hit with it, it's just easy to use, plain and simple.
If you feel like your current rubber isn't quite right for you, I'd say go with this one instead of that certain Nittaku rubber.

I figured a rubber priced under 3500 yen had to be for beginners, but this one is different.
If I had to place it in Butterfly's lineup, it's about on the level of Rozena. But the topsheet is basically the same as the Hexer, so I had high hopes!
      Let's try it out first.
My impression is that control and handling are both good! Serves and pushes cut really well! The most important thing for me, the drive, gives about the same amount of spin as Vega. That said, the speed is held back a bit.
The sponge only comes in 1.6mm, listed as medium thickness, so you can't choose anything thicker, but it seems like it would work well on a shakehand backhand or the reverse side of a Chinese penhold. It's a rubber where you can really feel the value for money.
It's satisfying enough for beginners through intermediate players.
I wish other manufacturers would do the same thing — cutting down the thickness options to keep the price low and focus on a specific target.
