I played table tennis in middle school as part of the club.
Last June, I picked it back up after a 36-year break.
Since I was a chopper back in middle school,
I'm still going strong as a middle-aged chopper now that I'm back.
That said, both the ball size and the rubber quality have changed since back then, so I spent a whole year going back and forth trying to find the right rubber. I tried Mizuno's Q4, Nittaku's Revspin, Butterfly's Tackiness Chop II, and VICTAS's VJC07 and VC07 Regular, but none of them quite did it for me.
Since it's described as a light-tension rubber, I tried the GTT40, and I was able to do really stable forehand chops. I used to only manage about 5 forehand chops in a rally, but I could easily keep it going for 10 or more. Granted, my practice partner was pretty skilled too. Still, it's just fun when a rally keeps going. By the way, for my backhand rubber, I've got Darker's Crea Sponge 1mm on. For enjoying fun practice sessions and lighthearted practice matches with everyone, rather than winning actual matches, I think this is the best rubber for a chopper. I'm planning to try the GTT45 in about six months. I've gotten hooked on light-tension rubbers!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Among andro's rubbers, this one is positioned as beginner-oriented, but the sheet grips the ball really well, so it produces a lot of spin.

Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players.
Since it's soft, you can still get a decent amount of spin even with a weak impact.
It's especially good on the backhand. Just a light push with your backhand sends over a good shot.

It feels like a lighter GTT45 with the bounce toned down a bit.
If weight isn't a big concern for you, you're probably better off buying the 45 instead.

It's marketed as a beginner's rubber.
But for some reason, despite being aimed at beginners, it produces a lot of speed, grips well for spin, and has great control.
Any beginner or intermediate player who's currently struggling with their table tennis should definitely give this a try.
I think you'll get satisfying performance out of it.

The value for money is insane. Why is it only andro that offers such great value?? Performance-wise, it balances both speed and spin well, and there's no technique that's hard to pull off with it. I'd recommend it for beginners.

Novice kid (Experience: ４〜５ years) Top-tier value for money up to intermediate level

For anyone up to intermediate level, this rubber offers really good value for money. The only difference from the GTT45 is the hardness - I used 45 on my forehand and 40 on my backhand, swapping them around, but I barely noticed a difference. Since the 40 is a bit softer, it might be easier to generate speed if your impact is on the weaker side. It's a German-made rubber, so it grips the ball well for spin. The sheet has good grip too, making it easy to loop against backspin. Since the sponge only comes in "medium," if you focus on hitting with a strong impact, swinging big, and following through, you'll get plenty of speed.
Topspin rallies at mid-distance are no problem, but for play away from the table, the reach falls a bit short, so it's tough unless you're using a really fast blade.If you're an intermediate player or below and can't decide on a rubber, this one should work fine. Since it's only available in "medium" sponge, the rubber itself is also light.
I'd recommend the 40 for beginners to lower intermediate players, and the 45 for intermediate and above.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
