Amazing speed and spin — a hard rubber. Drives are fast, you can generate spin at any point in a rally, and kill shots can't be stopped. It's clearly a great choice for power hitters, and a polished, experienced player can do this beast full justice.

The sponge is hard and difficult to handle, so I think it's hard to control unless you've played table tennis for a while. If you can really sink the ball into it, you can get shots that rival Dignics.

Both the topsheet and sponge are on the hard side, but the ball comes out fast and travels in a flat, straight line.
The topsheet has good grip on the ball, but once the ball sinks into the sponge, it doesn't get much spin and doesn't arc much either.

It's so incredibly hard that it's not a rubber to "step up" to. This is clearly for people who are already reasonably experienced at table tennis. If you haven't used a hard rubber much, I think it's better to wait until you're used to harder rubbers first.
I used to use Omega 5, and compared to that, the performance is on a totally different level. If you can really sink the ball in, it gets absurdly fast and flies a ton. But if you don't sink it in properly, you get a terrible shot...(
I thought a plywood blade might actually be easier to use. But if I'm paying this much... I'd just buy Tenergy.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It really feels like XIOM has come this far.
First off, it's hard, so I can't recommend it to everyone. If you can really sink the ball into the sponge, you'll get shots that can compete with Tenergy or Dignics. If you just tap the ball lightly on the forehand, it just feels hard, but when you hit a topspin drive, it draws a nice arc and lands deep. That said, since it's hard, I felt the short game and similar techniques were a little harder to pull off, but if you can get the ball to sink in even in a tight space, you can actually play a really good short game. For serves too, if you can sink the ball in and put good backspin on it, you can get service aces, and you can also send topspin deep.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Once you get used to it, you can produce shots with unbelievable power.
That said, it's incredibly hard.
And it really flies.
So I think a wooden blade would probably give better control than one with carbon in it.
Even though it flies a lot, fine plays like serve receives and the short game are actually pretty easy to do.
The downsides are that it easily turns into a spinless flat ball if you don't hit with a solid impact, and that it's expensive.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

(First impression after trying it) The first time I hit a speed drive with it, I was really shocked. I thought "whoa, that's fast!"
It also gets a lot of spin and bounces well, so I'd really recommend it to attacking players who like hard rubbers. That said, there are some control issues (maybe because it's MAX), so I think it takes some getting used to.
(Comparison with the rubber I used before) Compared to the Fastarc P-1 (max thickness) I used before, this one is better in both spin and speed. Blocking is also easier than with the P-1.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
