    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a cost-effective tension rubber for beginners and intermediate players, featuring outstanding spin and grip strength in its price range. While praised for stability by rotation-conscious players, some note its short lifespan and limited top speed performance.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional grip force and spin performance that outperforms competitors
    • High stability in backspin drives and board play, ideal for intermediates
    • Well-positioned as stepping stone from Lazanta and Rozena rubbers
    • Short durability and vulnerability to humidity issues
    • Speed is easy to generate but maximum output is limited
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe best rubber in this price range. Spin and grip strength are superior to others. Compared to same-priced Rozena and Vega series, grip force stands out distinctly. No notable weaknesses found.
▽ CriticalLifespan is only about one month, and its soft nature may cause power loss for strong players. The sheet is vulnerable to humidity, making spin difficult to apply.

      This is... amazing lol
The speed is so-so, but it puts a lot of spin on the ball, and best of all the control is great lol
On top of that, it's cheap lol
For this price range it's basically unbeatable (running out of words)

It's a rubber that generates a ton of spin.
Blocking is also very easy with it, so definitely give it a try.

Shark Panda (Experience: 2〜3 years) Insaaaaaaaane

      Reviews by user

This performance for this price is insane.
Just the performance alone is amazing.
And what I personally found most appealing was,
the top sheet is 100% natural rubber!!!
Normally top sheets are made by mixing natural rubber
      with synthetic rubber,
but this rubber is 100% natural rubber.
      What this means is,
the grip on the ball is on another level.
It grabs the ball more than Fastarc G1 does.
Even on a normal touch, it feels like the ball
      sinks in and grabs
like it's already been given spin.
When I actually hit a topspin drive,
      it's incredibly stable!
Just lightly meeting the opponent's block
sends the ball flying with tons of pace.
      Next is the short game.
It's not quite as grippy as tacky rubber, but it stops the ball about as much as G1.
      Next up is counters.
This is Hexer Grip's biggest strength,
      seriously!!!
I said the sheet is amazing, but
Hexer's biggest weapon is actually the sponge.
This caught me off guard (^^)
The stiffness is crazy for a 35-degree sponge,
counters are ridiculously easy to pull off!
Since it doesn't bounce much for a tension rubber,
it also keeps shots in check down the line.
Anyway, it's an amazing rubber, and
since you can get it for under 3800 yen, for drive players
      who prioritize stability,
I really recommend it. It's cheap, so
please, please give it a try.

Fried noodles (Experience: 11〜20 years) Worth more than the price

      Reviews by user

It doesn't have any standout characteristics, but it's a rubber that makes ball control easy.
If you sink the ball into the sponge and hit, you get powerful shots, and if you brush the ball, you can hold back the distance and put spin on it as intended.
It's more than good enough for backhand use.

The lowest rank of the strong school (Experience: 4〜5 years) Easy to use! Great for intermediate players

      Reviews by user

I had it on my backhand side.
I used to struggle with my backhand, but after switching to this rubber
I became able to do everything from backhand drives to pushes to blocks!
Both loop and speed backhand drives are stable with this.
My pushes don't float, and come out with a sharp, cutting trajectory.

That side of things is very easy to handle, but I felt the serves were a bit iffy.
It somehow felt hard to put spin on them.
My forehand side is short pips, so I flip my racket to serve, but I don't think it would be an issue at all for someone with inverted rubber on both sides.

      Also, it's a bit heavy.
That's unavoidable since it's a hard rubber, but if you don't have much power yet, a rubber that bounces on its own, like Vega, might be a better fit.

Iberian pig (Experience: 4〜5 years) Way too well-balanced!

      Reviews by user

I used it on my backhand.
I think it's a rubber that lets you perform any technique at a high level. In particular, loop drives were very easy to produce, and I felt the spin was strong. My mistakes on repeated drives also clearly decreased compared to before, so it felt great to hit with. I can highly recommend this rubber to intermediate players!

Passing too much for table tennis (Experience: 2〜3 years) Freakishly good control

      Reviews by user

I tried it on my forehand, and even for someone without much power like me, it felt quite soft. It doesn't give you the kind of speed on a topspin drive that blows past opponents in one shot. If you do use it, the control was quite good, so I'd recommend it for the backhand.
