I switched from Vega Tour because I wanted to prioritize control, and I was after that hitting sound that's unique to soft rubbers.
The sound really is nice when you hit the ball.
Also, since it's soft, the ball flies even without putting in much power.
This might be good for players without much power or for women players.
I think it's also a rubber that makes it easy to lift backspin and easy to generate spin in general.
I use Power Grip on the forehand of a Chinese penhold blade, with a grip rubber on the reverse side, and I think it's a pretty good combination.
If you're tired of Vega and rubbers like it, why not give this a try?

I'm a shakehand pips-out (long pips) player, two years into table tennis. I've used this rubber since I started, but since I wasn't winning much using this rubber on both sides, my coach told me to switch, so I tried a recommended long pips rubber instead. And I started winning a ton (for real). Confusing the opponent with the long pips (?) and then smashing whatever weird ball comes back — that combo worked incredibly well for me. This rubber is really good. If you're on the fence, just use this one.

I put the 2.1mm on a Harimoto Super ALC, coming to 48.3g.
I used it on my backhand.
Every technique is easy to do, and since the sponge hardness is 42.5 degrees, it doesn't fly too much, which makes it stable.
The topsheet is also strong, so it's easy to drive against backspin too.
Compared to higher-end rubbers like MK FX or Tenergy 05 FX, the spin is a bit weaker, but if attacking isn't your main focus on the backhand, I felt this was more than enough.
Personally, what I liked was that the topsheet is a bit insensitive, which makes handling loop drives more consistent.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used this on the reverse side of a reversible penhold blade.
The topsheet is incredibly strong, so even when backspin comes to my backhand, just brushing over the top gets it in — it's insane!
Thanks to this rubber, my backhand drives and chiquitas have become a lot more stable.

Everything about it is decent in a good way — decent speed, decent spin...
I think the performance is more than enough for beginners who've just moved past the basics, and for intermediate players.
I put it on my backhand when I switched from Japanese penhold with short pips on one side to Chinese penhold with a reverse-side rubber, in order to learn a backhand stroke.Swing all the way through and you get plenty of speed, and thanks to a moderate softness plus a strong topsheet, blocks hold up too.
The topsheet has just the right hardness, so you can get solid power even on flat hits.
I think it'll feel lacking for players with a lot of power or a fast swing, but
if you're hitting at around 50-70% effort, or hitting from an imperfect position and want a consistent shot, or want to set up chances for your forehand, this is more than high-performance enough.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'd say this sits right in the middle of the Hexer lineup in terms of performance and hardness.
Of course, the way it holds the ball really shows why it's a Hexer.

This rubber gets great spin, and even with just a little extra effort, the speed really picks up too. It's easy to place the ball where you're aiming, and even against long pips opponents, I could hit without thinking too much (?) about whether it was backspin or topspin. I think it's perfect for an inverted rubber on the backhand.
