DNA PRO S is highly evaluated for its exceptional stability and spin performance on the backhand side, with a soft sponge and excellent grip strength. It is becoming the go-to rubber for beginners to intermediate players and those prioritizing spin and control.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge with excellent bite, superior stability
    • Particularly suitable for backhand play
    • High sheet grip strength with consistent spin generation
    • Stable performance in table-play techniques like blocking
    • Lightweight design that enhances swing speed
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe rubber doesn't fly away on its own—it goes exactly where you swing it. With strong sheet properties, the spin is flawless and perfect for backhand. This rubber gives me confidence to win with excellent balance.
▽ CriticalUnsuitable for players who frequently use loops. The softness causes the ball to travel farther than intended, and the sheet's difficulty in rising makes it unsuitable.

They say stability is its selling point, and that's really true - my blocks became stable, I never feel like they won't go in. I think it's easy to use.

It suits the backhand. The sponge feels similar to the Fastarc series.
Even if your racket angle is a bit off, it still flies well.
If you're considering a German-made rubber for the backhand,
I think an ALC blade matches it better.

      cres125 For backhand

      Forehand: XIOM Vega O (Middle)
      Backhand: STIGA DNA PRO S

Before this I was using VICTAS Ventus Regular + STIGA Mendo.
As a high-elasticity rubber I was already familiar with, it was easy to hit with and decent enough,
but I wanted to try a tension rubber, so I re-glued with this one.

As a tension rubber, it bounces just the right amount, so it feels easier to hit with than before.

Overlord (Experience: More than 20 years) Makes table tennis easier

      Reviews by user

It doesn't fly on its own — the ball only goes as far as you swing it. The sheet is strong, so the spin is beyond complaint. Perfect for the backhand. I've used a lot of different rubbers, but with this one I can be confident I'll win. It's also good for weight adjustment. The ball doesn't release too quickly either, so it's not too affected by your opponent's spin. Wonderful balance.

Mentafu (Experience: 4〜5 years) Great close to the table, but...

      Reviews by user

Wanting more bounce and spin on my backhand, I switched from Rozena to DNA Pro S (thick).
It's soft, so it's easy to handle, and blocks and meeting the ball are incredibly stable.
Even if your angle is a bit off or your timing is slightly out, the ball still tends to go in.
Also, since the sheet is fairly strong, chiquitas and loops are stable too, and you get plenty of
      spin on the ball.
That said, since it's thick and soft, it doesn't have much destructive power on speed drives.
When you drop back to mid-distance or away from the table, if you're slightly off-center on contact or mistime your power a little,
the ball sometimes doesn't carry and falls short of your opponent's side.
When you drop back to mid-distance or away from the table, I felt you really need to either pivot around or commit to a full swing.
The feel on contact is incredibly soft — the kind of feel that people's opinions will be split on. It's like the ball gets grabbed and then released, that sort of feeling.
I'd recommend it for beginners, and also for people who want stability but still want to put spin on the ball, or
people who've grown tired of things like Rozena, Vega Europe, or Raigan.

Castella man (Experience: 2〜3 years) A great rubber for intermediate players

      Reviews by user

This rubber is soft, so the ball really sinks into it. Whether you swing vertically or horizontally,
at 42.5 degrees it's soft enough that you get a nice arcing shot every time. It's also easy to loop with.
The short game and chops go in stable as well.
It's soft, so of course it works fine on the backhand too.
Overall, I'd recommend it for female players, intermediate players, and players without much power.

centipede (Experience: 2〜3 years) Worth every penny!

      Reviews by user

The sponge is soft, so the feel on contact is really pleasant. On the forehand it's too soft, I think, so I think the backhand is better. It's easy to control too.
