I'm a chopper in my first year of junior high.
Since it was my first time chopping, I struggled to pick a rubber, but I ended up going with Tackifire D. Using it, even as a beginner I was able to land my chops well, and when I drove the ball, I got a moderate amount of spin and could play with consistency. Serves also had good spin on them, so I think this is a rubber suited for people who want to make their chops and drives more stable, or who want to really get spin on the ball.All Speed Spin Control

Using this on the forehand of an Award Allround.
Both the topsheet and sponge are on the softer side for a tacky rubber, so you can get good spin whether you sink the ball in or brush it.
I feel like brushing the ball gives more stability, but if you don't maintain the light tackiness, the amount of spin drops off fast.
For smashing, it's not a good fit if you've used a strongly tacky rubber before, and once you've used a tension rubber even once, I think this rubber's speed will feel lacking.All Speed Spin Control

A rubber that has more speed and spin than typical control-oriented rubbers, while still offering good control.
It falls a bit short compared to tension rubber, but I'd recommend it for aggressive choppers and beginners.

It's a rubber that feels kind of soft, kind of hard - hard to pin down. Of course topspin drives are easy, and so are serves. Other techniques are easy to pull off too, making it perfect equipment for beginners.

More choppers have started using Tenergy, but if you want a chopping rubber that's also easy to attack with, this is the one, right?
