Isn't everyone underestimating this just because it's an old rubber? This rubber is amazing!
It's built around spin and control.
Sure, we're in an era where bouncy, high-spin tension rubbers get all the hype, but isn't a style of table tennis where you keep the ball in play with a low-bounce rubber just as cool?
It grips the ball well for spin, and has just enough bounce to put away chance balls. Even as an attacking player, it forces your opponent into mistakes — I think that's great! I actually feel like this rubber shines precisely because it's the modern era.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Used this in red, max thickness, on the backhand.
The spin is about like Tackiness C, and the bounce is about like Tackiness D. It's soft and easy to handle. That said, it doesn't produce that much speed. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a rubber that doesn't bounce too much.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

After using modern rubbers, this inevitably feels a bit lacking, but it delivers guaranteed consistency. It's perfect as a second rubber to step up with before moving on to tension rubbers.

I bought this on a senior player's recommendation. These days there are monster tension rubbers out there, but this rubber is quite the monster too.
I'd been using loop drives a lot even before this rubber, but they wouldn't go in reliably. But after switching to [Tackifire Drive]
, they started going in, and the amount of spin went up too. The control is also good, so I'd really like drive-oriented players to give this one a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Honestly, I think this rubber is easy to use for both attacking players and choppers. It's listed as slightly tacky, but the tackiness isn't really noticeable, and it's still easy to attack with. I'd recommend it to anyone aiming to become a chopper or looking for a chopper-friendly rubber.

When I got back into table tennis after 20 years, I was used to the feel of Tackiness D that I loved back in my student days, so I went looking for something similar — and found it (lol)
Not too bouncy, a nice moderate tackiness, and decent speed too.

It's marketed as slightly tacky, but there's basically no tack to it at all.
That said, I did feel it makes up for that with good consistency.
The topspin drive got a decent amount of spin.
Chops dropped nicely, which made them easy to control.
Even in topspin rallies, I was able to return my opponent's power right back at them.
Advanced players might find it a bit lacking,
