Table tennis-GT39 (Experience: 2〜3 years) An easy-to-use tacky rubber

This is a soft, easy-to-handle tacky rubber.
While Tackiness Chop is built entirely for defense, Tackiness Drive is an all-round tacky rubber that works well for both defense and offense.
Because the sponge is soft, if you really sink the ball into it you get a nice spinny shot. The arc is also fairly high!
It doesn't produce much speed, but it's easy to control, and I'd recommend it to anyone trying tacky rubber for the first time! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

TENEZECS R48 (Experience: 2〜3 years) An entry-level tacky rubber

I used the thick version.
Since it's tacky, it doesn't bounce much and doesn't produce much speed either.
But if you flip that around, it's a good way to understand what tacky rubber is about and how spin builds up on it.
Personally I found it easy to chop with.
You can get a good amount of spin on it.
If you're planning to eventually move up to something like Hurricane, I think working through this or Tackiness Chop and then something like Mercury after would be a good path. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Butterfly Tackiness Drive gives beginners through intermediate players an excellent base with plenty of control and spin. It doesn't have much speed though, so it's not going to be exciting for advanced attacking players.

I bought it on a whim, but the performance is actually really good. It's super easy to control, and I felt like even beginners could handle it fine. For advanced players, I'd say chopping is about as far as it goes. Anyway, if you're on the fence, you can't go wrong buying this.

I bought this again after a long time, kind of as a return to my roots. Compared to tension rubbers it looks inferior on paper, but it gets a normal amount of spin and is easy to control. I think it's because I switched over from a tension rubber, but it felt like it didn't bounce much. Still, overall I think it's a pretty easy rubber to handle.

I feel like this could actually work for intermediate or even advanced players. I used the medium sponge thickness, and it bounces normally and is easy to control. Spin wasn't all that strong, though. But I was able to fake a backspin serve that had barely any spin on it lol

This is just my impression as a chopper.
Of course I'd recommend it to attacking players or anyone who prioritizes spin, but I think it might feel a bit lacking for intermediate to advanced players. I think it's a good rubber for building the foundation of a chopper's game now that attacking chop has become mainstream. The most important thing for a chopper is that the rubber doesn't bounce much when chopping, but choppers also need to attack or they'll lose. Since this rubber's bounce is kept low thanks to the tackiness, it might be ideal for anyone who wants to chop sharply while still being able to mix in some attacks. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
