They've toned down Q5's quirks, so it's turned into an all-purpose rubber any type of player can use!

I mounted the 2.1mm on the backhand side of my Acoustic. My impression after using it is that the ball just comes up, above all else. Drives, whether against backspin or topspin, come in with a nice arc. That said, the hardness felt softer than the number suggests. Especially when blocking a hard hit, I sometimes felt the ball squash flat on impact. Since I use a plain wood blade, it might feel different with a special material blade.
Overall I think it's a rubber specialized for driving. It doesn't feel well suited to power players. I'd say it's more of a rallying rubber than a one-shot finisher.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Perfect for the backhand side. The automatic feel is incredible.
Good points
- Easy to put spin on, and even flat hits pick up spin automatically
- Pushes bite in savagely, letting you drop the ball right off the opponent's blade
- Works fine whether you brush it or hit it flat
- Ball holding is excellent, making all kinds of techniques easy
- Usable even away from the table if you hit it firmly
- Great value for money given the performanceMinor drawbacks
- Rises up if you take an unexpected hit
- Blocks tend to float a bit (slightly arcing)The first thing I noticed was "it just goes in on its own."
Tenergy had some of that quality too, but this one is even stronger. Another strength is that it goes in even with forced, awkward strokes. (Even a wild, swinging backhand drive or a desperate reverse chiquita tends to go in even if it's a bit sloppy.)It's a rubber with tremendously high overall usability.

This is a switch over from Rozena.
My impression: if you prioritize spin and control on your drives, go with QQ; if you prioritize drive speed and distance, go with Rozena. The ball-holding feel was about equally good on both, and both were easy to control. There wasn't much difference in other techniques, but overall QQ felt a bit higher quality, and correspondingly had a bit more of a manual feel. This is my first Mizuno rubber, and the spin really grips properly. And above all, it's light. I thought it's an ultimate value-for-money rubber usable across a wide range of levels.

I have it on my backhand.
First, the good points. It's on the soft side, has no bad quirks, and is just a really "round," well-rounded rubber. There doesn't seem to be any technique you can't pull off close to the table. True to its reputation for value, it feels like a rubber that's an easy choice even for junior high and high schoolers.
Next, the not-so-good points. It's too well-rounded. It has no standout edge, and while that makes it easy for me to play, my opponents said it was also easier for them to return than before. Also, even though it's on an outer blade, it doesn't get much distance, and I had a lot of net misses when hitting from mid-distance or farther back.
In conclusion, for the junior high/high school age group it seems targeted at, playing a close-to-the-table backhand style, I think it's a solid choice price-wise too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I tried this out since it's Mizuno's new rubber.
First, hitting drives, my impression was that the speed is a bit on the modest side.
But the spin really comes on.
The control is easy.
