What I liked most is how well it holds the ball. With some of the older German rubbers and the Dignics series getting so high-performance that they're starting to lose that ball-holding feel, a rubber that's both high-performance and gives you a strong sense of holding the ball really resonates with the right kind of player. When the rubber holds the ball, you can swing with confidence on any technique.

Maybe because the sheet is so good, I sometimes couldn't get the ball to sink in and it would drop into the net, or I'd overshoot. I'd recommend it to players who are good at generating spin.

Thor Price hike killed its value

Now that the price has gone up, this has become a rubber with poor value for money.
It's an easy-to-use rubber for intermediate players, but the reality is there are plenty of other rubbers out there that are just as good or better for less.

This rubber's grip on the ball is seriously insane, and you can drive with a lot of stability. Topspin rallies are really easy, and the push is sharp too, so it was a really good rubber. But it was hard to get speed out of it.

I put thick sponge on the forehand side of my Hina Hayata H2 and hit with it.
As the title says, the feel was close to Tenergy 05. You don't feel the ball sink into the sponge much, but because the sheet is firm, you can still get plenty of spin and powerful shots.
However, the feel is quite different from the old Q series, so if you're looking for the hard feel and spin performance of the Q4 or Q5, you might not be satisfied.
The speed is just a bit more than Tenergy 05, and it stays within a controllable range, so the control is great too.
For the short game it's about as easy to use as other rubbers in the same hardness range — no particular trouble whether you're grazing the ball with the sheet or sinking it into the sponge.
In short, this is a rubber I'd recommend to people looking for Tenergy 05-like spin performance and value for money, or players in the mid-hardness range who want a strong sheet.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Used max thickness on the backhand side of my Pachitan 2.
The speed doesn't feel all that different. It doesn't fly off on its own, but if you swing through properly you can get decent speed.
The sheet is flexible, so the ball sinks into the sponge easily.
What really stands out is the spin — it's clearly a cut above the typical 5,000-6,000 yen rubbers.
It's easy to get a good arc, and if you grip the ball well against backspin you can produce high-quality shots that draw blocking or countering errors from your opponent.
That said, it's a bit harder to hit flat.
This isn't a rubber where just swinging gets the ball in — the harder you swing, the better the ball you get, so I'd recommend it to intermediate-and-up players who use topspin drives and counters.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
