What I felt was the biggest appeal of this rubber is how easily it lets you send back a high-quality return against any kind of ball. Against a high-quality drive from the opponent, the ball sinks right into the sponge, letting you control your return — blocks, counters, whatever — while holding onto the ball. Conversely, it also makes handling knuckle balls or low-power balls easy. Because you're not thrown off by the quality of the opponent's ball and can keep control over your own shot, I could really feel this rubber's appeal in just about any kind of game. As a backhand rubber, it also has more than enough power.

Forehand, thick.
Quite soft.
When I first started using it, I got a lot more overshoot misses on my loops.
That told me just how much this rubber sends the ball upward.
I think it's better not to force your shots when using this rubber.
Even without forcing it, you get plenty of spin.
That said, while this rubber is easy to put spin on, I think there are plenty of other rubbers out there with a higher spin ceiling.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I used max thickness on the forehand.
Against topspin, the ball comes up nicely so I don't have to worry about netting it.
Counters are easy too.
If you swing forward, every good ball goes in.
With loops, as long as you get the spin on, you can send good ball after good ball.
Hitting against a fast backspin drive was also really easy.
That said, compared to Japanese-made rubbers it is a bit on the heavy side.
You get better shots if you consciously relax and hit without forcing it.
Personally I felt that, compared to the MK Pro, the raw performance ceiling is a bit lower, but it's easier to actually bring that performance out.

Grip on the ball is strong, but it's not a rubber that launches the ball especially high. It felt more linear than I expected — a rubber where speed comes more easily than spin. Kind of like Tenergy 64 or V15 Stiff.
Rather than the rubber itself supplying the power, it feels more like it just grabs the ball and the rest is up to your arm. Using it on the forehand, you have to generate the arc with your arm yourself, so it calls for more of an old-school swing — full swings and upward strokes — and it might not suit everyone. On the backhand, as long as you don't take a big swing, blocks, chiquitas, and meeting shots are easy, and I think it's a good rubber for that.
On both forehand and backhand, pushes tend to float up. You need to cut down from above to keep them controlled.
Also, this is a complete upgrade over the Quantum — the impact it can handle is on a whole different level to begin with.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I switched to this rubber from Tenergy 05.

Other reviews often describe this as a rubber very similar to Tenergy, but it actually has the traits of a tacky (tension) rubber: a thick, slightly soft sheet, and a sponge that really suppresses the bounce when you hit it flat. It doesn't bounce much off a flat hit, and because it's a bit softer than a typical tacky rubber, blocking is extremely stable. Speaking for myself, I think this is a really good rubber for beginner-to-intermediate players who often catch the ball flat during a game — it's easy to keep the ball on the table and put spin on.
Speed is modest and spin is easy to generate, so with a plywood or inner-carbon blade there were times it held the ball a bit too long and I couldn't release it well. I feel it pairs well with a bouncier inner or outer carbon blade.

I switched over from the G-1, and comparing the two, I felt the G-1 has more grip on the ball. Well, it really comes down to how you use it, but I'd say the G-1 is the type where you grip and brush the ball to spin it, while this rubber is more the type where you sink the ball in to spin it.
