Out of all the hard-sponge rubbers I tried, I felt this one has a soft sheet that makes it easy to put spin on. The grip on the ball is tremendous, smashing is easy, and best of all, serves are easy to put heavy spin on.

I switched my forehand from the MX-D to this, and I've been playing really well since. The feel is neither too hard nor too soft, and it's really easy to put spin on the ball. Flat hitting and sinking the ball into the sponge are both easy to do too, so I think it suits a lot of different playing styles.

The feel is really great.
The short game is very easy to play. It's an all-around rubber — great whether you sink the ball into the sponge or brush/grip it. And this is despite the sponge being so hard!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The sponge is super hard, but it's easy enough to handle that you'd never guess, and the feel is soft.
That said, it's not just soft — it also puts out real power, so I think this rubber takes the best parts of a lot of different things. I found it really easy to use on my forehand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used the 2.0mm version.
There are a few slight air bubbles, and I didn't really feel the listed 51-degree hardness — it felt more like it was somewhere around 45-46.
I tried it on both an all-wood blade and a composite blade. On the all-wood blade, even though this isn't a tacky rubber, receives were stable and control was easy and consistent.
On the composite blade, it could really unleash its power, drawing a beautiful arc and driving deep into the opponent's court.
The control is also excellent.
I think it would match well with any blade.
It's no surprise a rubber like this gets named after a Japanese player, even from an overseas maker.
There's no single standout point, but it's a high-level rubber across the board.

A comparison with the MX-D.
The MX-D grips the ball better, but this one sinks into the sponge far more. If you're using it on the forehand, I'd go with the MX-D, but for the backhand I'd pick the MK Pro.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I used to use Tenergy 05, so this is a comparison review.
Topspin
MK > 05
Countering close to the table, even dropping the contact point, the accuracy is excellent and feels better than the 05. The amount of spin is decent even hit automatically, so no complaints there.
Backspin
MK < 05
The MK isn't bad, but it just can't beat the 05's sheet. It does lift the ball and generates speed, but the 05 produces more spin.
Serve
MK > 05
Pure backspin serves are a bit hard to produce. Sometimes the ball comes off too fast.
That said, since I use a lot of YG and side-spin serves, I've gradually gotten a feel for putting real spin on them.
Short game
MK > 05
Flicks and sliding shots are very easy to do. The grip, the flying feel, and the strength of the sheet are all well suited to short-game play. Pushes get plenty of spin too, which suits me since I rely a lot on countering and blocking.I think the 05 is the one that appeals to everyone, but the lifespan and price that bother people about the 05 aren't an issue with the MK Pro. I think it's worth trying at least once.
