With Dignics, drives fly with a nice arc and are stable, but because they go high, they're sometimes easy for the opponent to counter, whereas NUZN flies more in a straight line compared to Dignics, and I felt it was even faster than Dignics — my opponents also said it had more power than Dignics. That said, I did wonder whether the ball itself comes out cleaner, or whether it ends up being easier for the opponent to return. But the spin and power are on par with Dignics, if anything I feel like they might even be better. If you don't swing with real speed all the way through, hitting a half-hearted drive can cause it to drop.
Drives against backspin are easier than with Dignics — you can bring the ball up in one shot.Blocking also has quick ball release, so unlike Dignics where it feels like you hold the ball for a moment before blocking, I feel like I get fewer overshoot misses than with Dignics, and since the rubber is heavier, I don't get pushed around by my opponent's shots either.
Counter-hitting also has that same quick release compared to Dignics, so it's a rubber you can counter with while being less affected by the opponent's spin than with Dignics, letting you swing through with confidence.
For serves, I think the sharpness on vertical spin is better than Dignics. The one drawback is that it goes a bit high when you try to put sidespin on it.
For receiving, even pushes come out really low and short, making it an easy rubber to receive with — for ease of receiving, NUZN is far and away my choice.

As has been said in a lot of places, for a 55-degree rubber the feel on the ball is soft.
With hard rubbers I tend to dump easy shots into the net with light hits, but with this one that didn't happen, probably because the sheet is strong and maybe on the softer side. For balls that just barely pop out past the table, I usually manage to loop them in somehow, but with this rubber I kept dropping them into the net, so I do think it's genuinely hard.
(Compared to rubbers in the same hardness range) talking to the person I test-hit against, it does seem true that you get more speed and spin than you'd expect, but afterward when I tried Rakza XX, that one gripped spin even more (and more easily), and even loops that wouldn't go in with the NUZN went in fine — it felt better overall.
I'm a fan of Yoshiyama, so I tried the NUZN, but honestly I'll just stick with Yasaka.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I braced myself for the hardness when I put it on, but it feels about 5 degrees softer than expected — in a good way!

A friend of mine who competes at the All-Japan level recommended it, saying everything goes in with this rubber, so I test-hit it on my backhand side, and sure enough, the ball rises on its own and turns into a good shot without you doing much.
During a match, just tilting your backhand about 45 degrees close to the table and swinging straight forward makes the ball rise on its own, so it ends up like a proper close-to-the-table drive.
If anything, it rises so much on its own that you have to be careful not to send it long.
For reference, hitting at the same angle with a normal rubber sends the ball straight into the middle of the net.Up until now I'd been working hard to snap a backhand drive close to the table, but with this rubber, all you need is the right angle and a forward swing, so it's really easy.
Even when you're cramped and can't swing properly and just block the ball back, with this rubber all you have to worry about is the angle and swing forward, so it's easy that way too.If you're going to use it on the backhand in matches, NUZN50 probably gives more peace of mind.
It's genuinely surprising, so it's a rubber I'd want everyone to try at least once, but the high price is a drawback.I only got to test-hit it, so I don't know how long it lasts, but given the high price, it seems to last a long time too.

It's often described as a "manual-feel rubber where you need to generate everything yourself," but personally, I felt it has some auto-feel qualities too.
That auto-feel isn't the type you get from something like Dignics 05 or Zaier 03, which always make it easy to lift the ball for you. Instead, its auto-feel is the kind where strong power comes out only once you commit to a full impact and really sink the ball into the sponge.
Because of that, I got the impression the trajectory tends to be relatively flat. Rather than just grazing the sheet with a thin brush, I think you get more out of this rubber's characteristics by really sinking the ball into the sponge.
In particular, in mid-distance rallies, it's easy to hit powerful counters and drives, and I felt like I didn't lose out against the opponent's shots.
On the other hand, it's not a rubber that will get the ball in just from a light touch. The "activation condition" is "making solid contact." Once you meet that, I think it's a rubber that automatically delivers powerful shots.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

With the NUZN55 2.0mm, I felt a bit of hardness when hitting forehand knocks, but when I actually drove the ball, maybe because the sheet is a little soft, the ball sank into the rubber perfectly and had great extension, really flying through.
The sheet strength is probably top-class among all rubbers — it's really strong. Thanks to the slight tackiness, serves and loop drives grip the ball a lot even with a compact swing, generating way more spin than it looks like.
When I used to use Dignics 09C, my shots were easy for opponents to read, but since switching to the NUZN55, my shots come out sharp and are hard to read.
That said, it's a bit heavier than Dig 09C, so swing speed really matters. I'd love for everyone to try this rubber at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
