  It bounced a lot more than I expected. On the other hand, the spin wasn't quite as much as I thought.
  It's surprisingly soft, and if you commit to sinking the ball in, you get a great shot. Brushing it thinly, though, I didn't feel much of that good grip... That might be because I've used tacky rubber for a long time.

  Chops bite well, but I never quite felt like I could trust the topsheet's grip. You get more out of it by catching the ball deep and putting spin on it that way. I think that's a matter of preference. It doesn't fly too long. The control is excellent.

  The maker's claim that it bounces when you hit hard and doesn't bounce when you hit soft seems to be true. Control over long and short shots is good too.

  イメージしていたよりもずっと弾みました。逆に、回転は思ったほどではありませんでしたね。
  意外に柔らかく、思い切って食い込ませるといい球が出ます。薄く擦ってもあまり引っかかりのよさを感じられず・・・。これは、私が粘着ラバーを長く使ってきたからかもしれません。

  カットは切れるのですが、いまいちトップシートのグリップ力を信用できない感じでした。深く捉えてかける感じですね。これは好みの問題だと思います。飛び過ぎたりはしません。コントロールの良さは素晴らしいです。

  強く打てば弾み、弱く打てば弾まないという、メーカーの謳い文句は正しいと思います。長短のコントロールも良いですね。

  I used this back when I'd switched over to an offensive style for a while.
  This was on the backhand of a Korbel, so putting it on something like a carbon blade might give a different impression.

  It has a strong sense of wanting to shoot forward, and it's a rubber with a real feeling of speed.
  It was especially good for counter-style blocking. With today's rubbers, the ball tends to grip and come out with a bit of a high arc. The Bryce flies straight, right where you aim it.

  When you catch the ball right on the sweet spot for a drive, it does get a decent amount of spin.
  The plain grip of the topsheet isn't bad. It's the right hardness for the ball to sink in. It's stable.
  That said, something like the chiquita is tough. At least with my swing speed...

  以前、攻撃型に転向していた時期に使っていました。
  コルベルのバック面ですので、カーボンラケットなんかに貼ると印象が違うかもしれません。

  前に飛び出そうとする感じは強く、とてもスピード感のあるラバーです。
  とくにカウンター気味のブロック、これが良かったです。今のラバーだとやはり引っかかってしまい、ちょっと山なりになる気がします。ブライスは狙い通りにまっすぐ飛びます。

  ドライブはしっかり芯でとらえてかけた時にはある程度かかりますね。
  トップシートの単純な引っかかりは悪くないのです。食い込む硬度ですし。安定します。
  ただ、チキータなんかは厳しいですね。自分のスイングスピードでは・・・。

  Maze Performance

  

  Of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with the Mace, the arylate carbon blade that used to be sold (lol).
  The Mace also had a slightly thicker blade compared to the Timo Boll, but this blade is quite thick for a 5-ply.
  And it's soft. The ball seems to grip onto it well.

  I don't think overly hard rubbers suit it that well, but thanks to the blade thickness it doesn't flex too much, so I don't think you need to be too picky about rubber choice. It handles attack, defense, and the short game all without issue.
  If you want to put on a spin-oriented tension rubber, this might be easier for beginners to handle than something like the Korbel.

  I personally like the way it flies when blocking on the backhand side.
  With thinner 5-ply blades I somehow feel like I get pushed back.

  以前市販されていたアリレートカーボンラケットのメイスとは勿論、全く関係ありません(笑)
  メイスもティモボルに比べるとやや板が厚かったですが、このラケットは五枚にしてはかなり厚いブレードです。
  そして柔らかい。ボールの食いつきがいいように感じます。

  あまりに硬いラバーは少し合わないと思いますが、板厚のおかげかしなり過ぎないので、ラバー選びに神経質にならなくていいと思います。攻撃、守備、台上とそつなくこなせます。
  スピン系テンションを貼るならコルベルあたりよりも、ビギナーにとって扱いやすいかもしれません。

  バック面でブロックするときの飛び方が個人的に好きですね。
  板が薄い五枚では何となく押し込まれる気がするので。

  MA LIN EXTRA OFFENSIVE

  

  The famous Ma Lin model, needs no introduction. The surface material is on the harder side, but I think this level of ball-leave speed is practical.
  A friend of mine has short pips on it and says it works fine with those too.

  At first I paired it with tacky rubber, but it didn't bounce as much as I expected, so I switched to a harder tension rubber.
  That worked out well. It puts on spin, and it still shoots out properly when you smash too.
  The other side has a soft rubber, but there was no mushy, unpleasant feel to it. I think that's thanks to the blade's moderate hardness.

  It doesn't bounce much on the short game or on serves, and it's easy to put spin on, so if you're good at fine, detailed play, you can take control of the point from there.

  言わずと知れた馬琳モデル。表面材が硬めですが、これくらいの球離れが実用的だと思います。
  友人は表ソフトを貼ってますが、表でも使えると言ってました。

  最初粘着を合わせましたが、思ったほど弾まなかったので硬めのテンションに変更。
  これがよかったです。回転はかかりますし、弾いてもしっかり飛び出してくれます。
  裏面は柔らかいラバーですが、ブニブニした嫌な打球感はありませんでした。適度な硬さのおかげですね。

  台上やサーブではさほど弾まず、回転がかけやすいので、細かいプレーが得意な選手なら、そこから主導権を握ることが出来ると思います。

  The ball hold is just right, and it doesn't get affected much by incoming spin, so it's surprisingly easy to chop with.
  It's suited to players who like to sink the ball in and cut it. It gives good distance, but doesn't float easily.
  The attacking performance has already been talked about to death, so I'll skip that (lol)

  Serves bite pretty well, and receiving isn't hard either. I think it's a well-balanced rubber.
  That said, personally I never got used to the feel, so I couldn't really use it long-term. And honestly, it shrinks way too much (lol)

  球持ちが丁度良く、回転の影響を強く受けないので、意外にカットしやすいです。
  食い込ませて切る方向けですね。飛距離は出ますが、浮きにくいです。
  攻撃性能はもはや語り尽くされているでしょうから、割愛します(笑)

  サーブは比較的切れ、レシーブもやりにくさはありません。バランスのいいラバーだと思います。
  ただ、個人的にあの打球感が好きになれず、使い込めませんでした。もっと言うと、縮みすぎです(笑)
