  Tackifire C Soft

  

  The sponge is quite a bit softer than Tackifire C.
  The tackiness isn't that weak either, so the ball still doesn't fly much, but the sheet is a bit hard, so you can still get some speed by brushing it.
  If the sheet were mushy too, I don't think this rubber would have much reason to exist (lol)

  I used it on my backhand, and the first thing I noticed is how light it is. Since a thicker sponge makes it easier for the ball to sink in, being light is a nice bonus.
  That said, once the ball sinks in, it doesn't come back out with much force... Attacking is tough.
  If you try to add spin, it ends up coming out looping rather than fast.

  For chopping, both the stability and the sharpness are excellent.
  I think it's better to chop consistently rather than mixing in knuckle balls.
  That's because the ball speed off it is quite slow.

  タキファイアＣよりは、かなりスポンジが柔らかいです。
  粘着もそこまで弱くないのでやはり飛ばないのですが、シートは若干硬いので擦ってもある程度は飛ばせます。
  これでふにゃふにゃシートだったら存在意義がないと思います(笑)

  バックに使いましたが、まず軽い。厚めのものを貼った方が食い込みやすいので、軽いところは嬉しいです。
  食い込んだ後の飛び出しはかなり弱いですけどね・・・。攻撃は厳しいです。
  かけようとすると、ループ気味になってしまいます。

  カットは安定性、キレ共に非常に良いです。
  ナックルを織り交ぜたりせず、コンスタントに切って行く方がいいと思います。
  球速はかなりゆっくりなので。

  Sriver G2

  

  It's not that hard, so you can sink the ball into it, but when you do that you don't get much spin.
  Compared to a regular Sriver, the ball flies forward more, so that nasty feel you get from a thin brush shot is cut in half.
  The ball comes off gently though, so the short game is easy to handle.

  Overall it's not a bad rubber, but honestly, it feels like a rubber from a past era.
  Compared to something like Bryce, the ball feels milder, so it's hard to win points purely on ball quality.
  If I were choosing today, I feel like Sriver would score more points.

  あんまり硬くないので、食い込ませて打てるのですが、そうなると回転はかかりません。
  ふつうのスレイバーと比べると前に飛んでいくので、薄ーく擦るボールのいやらしい感じは半減しています。
  飛び出しは優しい感じなので、台上はやりやすいんですけどね。

  全体的にそこまで悪いラバーではないのですが、正直、過去のラバーだと思います。
  ブライスなんかと比べるとボールがマイルドな感じなので、球質で勝負、というのも難しいと思います。
  今選ぶなら、スレイバーのほうが点になる気がします。

  Palade

  

  The blade is large but thin.
  That said, the bounce isn't too weak either - I'd call it just average, I guess (lol)
  It's a balance-type blade. I'd say it leans slightly toward defense.

  Chops are stable, but I wouldn't say it's especially easy to put heavy backspin on them.
  It's the kind of blade where you make solid contact and return the ball solidly.
  Pushes are rock solid, so I think it's good for chop-dominant players.
  The bounce isn't bad either, so attacking isn't out of the question.

  That said, if you put a soft rubber on it, the feel becomes mushy and unpleasant.
  A harder rubber probably suits it better. Personally, I'd want to use inverted rubber on both sides.

  ブレードが大きくて、板は薄いラケットです。
  ただし弾みが弱すぎるわけでもなく、普通・・・といったところでしょうか(笑)
  バランスタイプですね。やや守備よりだと思います。

  カットは安定しますが、切りやすいかといえばそうでもないような。
  しっかり当てて、しっかり返していくラケットですね。
  ツッツキはド安定しますし、カット主戦の選手にはいいと思います。
  弾みも悪くはないので、攻撃も出来ないことは無いですし。

  ただし、柔らかいラバーを貼ると打球感がブヨブヨして気持ち悪いです。
  硬めのラバーが合うかな。個人的には裏裏で使いたいです。

  Rising Dragon

  

  I thought it would lean more toward a tension rubber, but it's definitely tacky, and you really have to swing all the way through to get any spin, so it's totally a tacky rubber (lol). Still, it was refreshing how the ball flies out even with just a light touch.

  When you really smash it you get a straight ball, and when you brush it you get a wobbly, tricky ball.
  The range of ball quality is wide.
  The way the drive keeps its speed even when you hit hard from far back is something unique to this rubber.

  Personally, chopping was hard to do. When I received a hard hit, the ball flew further than expected.
  I think it's good for players who use their forehand purely for attacking rather than chopping. Pushes also had good spin, which was nice.
  Maybe it works for choppers who can always hit the ball thin...

  もっとテンションラバー寄りだと思っていましたが、粘着はしっかりありますし、振り切らないと回転が掛からないところなど、まるっきり粘着ラバーですね(笑)ただ当てただけでも飛び出していくところは新鮮でした。

  ぶったたいた時には直線的なボールが出せますし、引っかけて打つとうねるようなクセ球になります。
  球質の幅が広いです。
  下がったところから思いきり打つと失速せずドライブが飛んでいくところはこのラバーならではだと思います。

  個人的には、カットはやりにくかったです。強打を受けると思ったよりボールが飛んでしまいました。
  フォアはカットせず攻撃のみ、という方にはいいと思います。ツッツキもなかなか切れてよかったです。
  常に薄く当てられるカットマンなら使えるのかも・・・

  Defence X

  

  I got this from a senior member of my club.
  My old partner, the Defence Alpha, had gotten so worn out that I was getting scared to keep using it (lol).
  Both my senior and I had assumed this was part of the same "Defence" family, but it turned out to be totally different...

  First off, it flexes quite a bit. The blade is thin.
  If you use a rubber that isn't too soft, it probably won't bother you as much...
  I do think this blade has the edge when it comes to keeping the ball under control. But it makes it harder to cut sharply with pips.
  Inverted rubber on both sides might work better...

  On offense too, it somehow feels like the power drains out of your shots, which was a bit disappointing.
  I think it's a good choice for players who like to retrieve and grind out points.
  If you put on a firmer rubber, it gets nicely heavier, and chopping becomes even easier.

  クラブの先輩から戴きました。
  私のかつての相棒であるディフェンスαがぼろぼろになり、使うのが怖くなってきているためです(笑)
  私も先輩も、ディフェンスの一族だと思っていましたが、全然違いました・・・。

  まず、しなってしまいます。板が薄いのです。
  あんまり柔らかくないラバーであれば、気にならなくなるかな・・・
  抑えやすさではこちらに分があると思います。が、粒で切るのが難しくなっています。
  裏裏だといいのかも・・・

  攻撃もなんだかパワーが抜けてしまう感じで、ちょっと悲しかったです。
  拾う、粘る、という方にはいい選択だと思います。
  硬めのラバーを貼るといい感じに重くなり、カットはさらにやりやすくなるでしょう。
