It really produces a lot of knuckle balls. It holds up well against fast shots, letting you block almost like a long-pips player. That said, it's hard to generate your own spin, so you really only get knuckle balls.
Pushes and chops come out as knuckle balls too, but they still go in.On offense, flat hits and the short game in general are easy, and the ball stays on the table properly.

Of all the short pips rubbers I've used, the spin on this one is top class. And on top of that, it's easy to hit flat, meeting shots too.

It's not as light as the Versal, but it's still pretty light. I also feel like the blade size might be slightly smaller than usual. Since it's light, switching between forehand and backhand is quite fast. That said, the blade alone doesn't have much power. I think it works well for a penhold short-pips close-to-the-table attacking style. I don't think it suits drive players. Since it's light, it might also be worth cutting the cork on the backside and putting some rubber on it.

This is one of the lightest Chinese penhold rackets out there. The bounce is good too. That said, since it's made of balsa wood, it's incredibly fragile. If you've been struggling to swing through with a heavy Chinese penhold blade, this or the Black Balsa could be worth trying.
