You can feel the flex, and it makes controlling your spin easy.
Since I play close to the table, the slightly slower speed actually makes it easier to handle.
It pairs well with the GF T40 too, chiquitas are easy, and it makes me feel like I've gotten better.
I won a Mizuno rental and tried a bunch of things with it, and I thought the balance was really good. I haven't tried it from further back, but it might be tough if you drop back…Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

Because it's soft, the speed isn't that much, but it puts a lot of spin on the ball.
Rather than automatically applying a fixed amount of spin on its own, it feels more like you can easily control how much spin you put on yourself.I felt like it's not suited to anyone looking for a hard, solid feel on contact.

It gets about as much spin as the normal Spin Pips.
I put it on as forehand pips, but it doesn't produce very nasty balls.
It might be good for penhold short pips though.
For choppers it might fly a bit too much...If you're using it as forehand pips, Spectrum Red (which I use on another blade) seems better since it produces knuckle balls more easily.

I think the performance is good.
That said, it doesn't really feel like a short pips rubber.
It doesn't produce much knuckle, probably because the pips are big and packed tightly, so it feels a lot closer to inverted rubber.
I think it's good for someone switching over from inverted rubber, but personally I find myself thinking "then why not just use inverted?"

It's easy to control and well balanced, so I think it's great for beginners to intermediate players.
I use it for my wife, who's a beginner.
Since the performance isn't skewed in any one direction, a well-balanced rubber like this is recommended for someone whose form isn't fixed yet.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
