This is the blade that Oshima, who's really coming up right now, uses.
Let me quickly list the pros and cons.
Pros
- No quirks, easy to handle
- Great value for money
- Even though it's a 7-ply, it generates plenty of spin and the power is more than enough
Cons
The blade itself is heavy, so you'll need to adjust your total racket weight. Or just look for a lighter individual blade.
That's my quick summary. The fact that it has so few downsides is really what makes this blade great.

So let me sum it up briefly.
1. The grip is thin, so the backhand is easy to use, and switching your grip between forehand and backhand is easy too.
2. The blade itself has the same construction as the famous Timo Boll ALC, so drives are easy to hit as well.
3. The design looks cool and boosts your motivation.

1. Even though it's an ALC, it contains a special outer material, so you need to be careful when switching over from an all-wood blade.

This blade looks great, above all else. But it's not just about looks — the performance is solid too. Here's what's good about it.
1. Easy to put spin on
2. It's a classic 5-ply all-wood blade, so the control is good
3. For an all-wood blade, it has decent bounce and stability too
Points to watch out for
1. The feel is a bit unusual, kind of hollow/plasticky
2. The back of the grip is a little rough. (You need to sand it down a bit, otherwise it'll hurt your hand.)

I tried the Evolution MX-P but it was too hard for me to use, so I picked this one up instead. Here's a rundown of how it performs.
Topspin drive: The grip is strong, so you can put a lot of spin on your drives.
Push: Also easy to do, though watch out because it can fly a bit long.
Serve: Bites just fine, no issues.
Counter: This was the hardest for me. Might be because I normally use tacky rubber, but it felt tricky.
Overall: Spin comes out great across the board and I could hit solid drives, so I was happy with it. If you're on the fence about which rubber to get, this might be worth trying.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'm using this now because it's DHS's tacky rubber made for the plastic ball.
From here on, a comparison with the Neo 3.
Speed: Neo3 < Hurricane 8
Spin: Neo3 > Hurricane 8
Serve: Neo3 = Hurricane 8
For overall power, the Hurricane 8 is the one that punches through in one shot, but it's harder to lift and grind the ball from a low contact point the way you can with the Neo 3. Still, it makes up nicely for the Neo 3's weak points.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
