Among 3-ply hinoki blades, I'd say the bounce is about medium? Terion > Trefire > Hinoki 3, in that order. I don't use single-ply blades myself, so I can't say whether the feel is close to one. Combining the grip and blade length, this is a fairly large blade for a round-cornered shape. But that seems to be what gives it the ability to keep up with the power of modern table tennis even with just one rubber side. Great value for money - a good first blade for penhold Japanese-style single-siders.

Even though the feel is hard, there's still a sense of holding the ball. When you bounce it, it makes a sharp, high-pitched sound, which gave me the impression it would release the ball fast, but actually it holds the ball well and is easy to control. On flat hits like shorts and counters, you can really feel how quickly it releases the ball. It's a strange blade where good ball-holding and quick release coexist. I guess this is the effect of the Reflex 50 system.
As for the top ply, it's hard, and as a long-pips player I found it easy to create variation. It resonates more than a carbon blade, but doesn't fly too much, so I think it's also great for an unorthodox offensive/defensive style. Overall it feels like a blade that can do just about anything.
I don't think it'll suit people who like the feel of the Kasumi Basic, Korbel, or STIGA's 5-ply wood blades.
If you find carbon blades fly too much and feel too hard, definitely give this a try.

I used this for almost 5 years through junior high and high school. There's a fabric backing on the underside of the sheet, so it gives a bit of resonance when you hit the ball, which makes it feel stable. It's different from the flimsy OX long pips you see these days. This isn't a rubber for making the ball dip or wobble unpredictably on the opponent's side. It's perfect for a fast-paced push into a long-pips forehand attack. The price is also very cheap, so it's definitely worth trying.

Compared to Booster, the bounce is fairly modest, but compared to older rubbers like Speedy P.O. or Spectol, it bounces way more. Above all, it has no quirks and is easy to use, so I think it's good for someone using short pips for the first time. The ball you send over doesn't have much quirk to it either, but the performance is high, so I'd recommend it. It's a completely different animal from Hammond FA.

My preconception was that this was a beginner's rubber. But when I actually tried it (since I mostly play with long pips), I found it gave plenty of control even for someone like me who's not great with inverted rubber. It gives the impression of resisting incoming spin while still letting your serves bite. If you're someone who used to fly the ball with speed glue on a high-elasticity FX-type rubber back in the day, definitely give this a try. It's a piece of equipment that reminds you how fun table tennis is, and it's great value for money.
