    Used this on a plywood penhold looper blade.

    Forehand hitting… doesn't bounce much
    Topspin drive… barely bounces with a thin contact. But hit it thick and you get amazing shots. Not just spin — the speed keeps up with tension rubbers too! And even with a thin contact you still get decent spin.
    Block… easy to do since it doesn't bounce much! Sidespin blocks stop really well too!
    Counter… hit it firmly and you get a great shot.
    Push… really good. The sheet is soft, so even though it's tacky, the ball sinks properly into the sponge.
    Short game… again, easy since it doesn't bounce much (lol)
    Overall… since the sheet is soft, the ball sinks in more than any tacky tension rubber I've used before… and the weight is about the same as a German tension rubber, so it's totally swingable…
    Nothing but good points!!!
    Next I want to try it on a single-ply blade.

    I've been using Fastarc G-1, so here's a quick comparison.
    G has more drive power. If you can swing hard with all-forehand play, G-1 is definitely better.

    For backhand pushes and choppy short balls, C-1 is easier to use. It was also very easy to vary my stops!

    Since it's lighter, you lose some power, but you make fewer unforced errors and it's easier to mix up the rally yourself — great for anyone who's finding all-forehand play getting tougher lately!

    I used this on the back side of a penhold blade.
    The sponge is soft, but the sheet is a bit on the hard side, so it's tricky to sink the ball in and hit with it.
    That said, the sheet grips the ball really well, so my serves had a lot of spin.

    Ma Long used this back in his junior days.
    My impression after using it - paired with a tacky rubber, it produces unbelievable drives!
    If you feel like your spin dropped off after the switch to plastic balls, I'd definitely say give this a try!
    That said, the distance falls a bit short compared to composite blades, so you might just have to hit the gym and muscle through your swings (lol)

    Every technique is easy to do with it!
    It's great for people who can't quite afford the pricier spin-tension rubbers!

    Also, the feel is surprisingly close to Chinese rubber! Even hitting it the Chinese-rubber way, you get a heavy, spin-loaded ball, so I think it also works well as a bridge from Chinese rubber to spin tension rubber.
