I test-hit this with high expectations since it's known as the highest-spin rubber in the Q series.
- Softer than the Q3! Same hardness rating, but the sponge itself seems to be made softer.
- Not quite as easy as Tenergy 05 FX, but manageable enough to use on the backhand too.
- The arc is very low, so drives tend to land shallow on the table. Easy to aim for the sides! Because the arc is low, the ball also feels faster.
- The power of the loop drive is definitely there!
- Counter-driving the ball at the top of the bounce is easy to do!
That was my overall impression.
On the other hand, here's what I wasn't happy with:
- Pushes and stops come in low, but they have basically no bite.
- When you sink the ball in, it feels like it hits the blade right away, so speed drives during rallies are easy to do, but they tend to become light, flat-hit-style speed drives.
- The spin isn't low, but since it's easy to sink the ball in and handle, it's not particularly high either.
- Because it's soft, when you try to catch the ball with the topsheet, you sometimes catch it too thin and mishit.
This turned out to be a different rubber than I imagined. It has a lot of quirks, so I found it interesting. I prefer the Q4 over the Q3, and I got used to it quickly.

48g in UM, used on both forehand and backhand.
Normally I use Dignics 05 on both sides.
1. Even though it's marketed as a high-speed rubber in the Rasanter line, it has high grip and spin performance.
2. It sinks in nicely, so blocking and quick half-volley type connecting shots are easy!
3. Speed performance that holds up against Dignics 05! Since it's linear, it's probably faster than R53!
Those were the three things I liked.
In particular, the grip and spin from point 1 are excellent, and I really liked how you can stabilize your shots with spin.
On the backhand, rather than driving through the ball, I found it worked better to add spin and stabilize the shot — that added speed on top of the stability, making it easy to create chances, and it felt really good.
One thing to watch out for: compared to Tenergy 05 or Dignics 05, it bounces more easily, so stops and pushes tend to float up, and I felt counter-hitting flat was more stable than counter-driving.
I feel this rubber loses out a bit because of its name — it's better used thinking of it as a spin-oriented tension rubber rather than a speed rubber, and that's when its performance really shines.
For anyone using Tenergy 05 and looking for a rubber that's good value and gives you speed without losing much spin, I'd recommend this one.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

As the title suggests, this felt like a harder version of Q3.
・The sheet grips well, so you can hit low, spinny loop drives! Serves get plenty of spin too.
・It's hard, but the ball sinks into the sheet easily!
・If you snap a speed drive, you get a nasty, heavy drive with a flat trajectory!
・If you brush sideways for a curve drive, you get a heavy, nasty drive with a wicked spin!
・Pushes and stops stay low!
・Not easily affected by the opponent's spin! Counter-driving is easy too!・On the backhand, maybe because the pips are thinner, I felt the ball leaves the rubber a bit quickly. Even when it sinks in, it feels like it releases the ball right away.
・Pushes and stops are easy to keep low, but hard to put heavy backspin on. This might be the effect of the heat making the sponge softer.Brushing sideways for a curve drive really makes the ball dance around, counter-driving is easy, and pushes and stops settle in nice and low, so I think this is a one-of-a-kind rubber.
Aside from the smell, I really liked it!

Good points
- Soft for a 50g rubber; if the weight doesn't bother you, control is excellent!
- The ball grips well and holds onto the sponge, so control, stability, and speed in topspin rallies are top-notch!
- It doesn't spin automatically on its own, but in the end it reminded me a bit of Tenergy 80.
- Counter-drives near the top of the bounce were easier than I expected.
- Being hard at 50 degrees, it was less affected by incoming spin than I imagined.
- It feels like the JP 01 Turbo's control with extra speed added on. With the Z1 Turbo you get plenty of speed to take away your opponent's time. If anything, it leans toward a rally-oriented rubber.
- Excellent value for money.Things that bothered me
- Spin is easy to generate, but the ceiling is low. The average spin level is probably around Tenergy 64.
- For raw spin amount, the heavier, harder M1 Turbo is better.
- Because the sponge is hard, pushes and stops aren't impossible, but they were a bit prone to overshooting or double-bouncing. Cutting the ball is also hard.
- Against backspin, drives were more prone to netting than I expected unless I hit them solidly.
I'd use this on my backhand if I were to use it.

It was 50g, but it didn't feel heavy.
Probably because the area near the grip where the rubber's name is printed is a bit heavy, the rubber itself ended up with its weight balanced toward the grip.
- Like other reviews say, it has strong grip on the ball close to Tenergy 05, and I was really impressed.
- No particular complaints about how easy the loop drive is, its quality, or the amount of spin!
- Compared to Tenergy 05, stops and pushes settled in more solidly and were easier to put spin on!
- Maybe thanks to the grip-side weight balance, I could just barely use it on the backhand too!
- The counter drive was easier to hit than with R53! Once you get the feel for it, I felt like it works fine on the forehand!
- When using it on the backhand, a meet-hit-style drive feels really satisfying!
What bothers me is that, compared to Tenergy 05, when you sink the ball in it tends to pop back out quickly — speed is easy to generate, but when you try to add spin after the ball hits the rubber, it pops back out before the spin really takes, making it hard to put spin on.
Because of this tendency to pop the ball back out quickly, I'd say it's a bit of a no-go for the forehand, and it felt better on the backhand, where you can also use it for meet-hits.
That said, if you're going to use it on the backhand, I think the regular version is better than the 50°, so I'm being a bit harsh with my score.
