A comprehensively thinner top surface rubber, subjected to high tension, allows space for a thicker sponge - generating extra power and speed.
The DONIC Bluestorm Series offers noticeably greater acceleration whilst retaining its outstanding spin and speed characteristics, making the latest trend.
The thinnest sponge is 1.9 mm, middle sponge thickness is 2.1 mm - and the thickest variation is called max+, because this sponge is even thicker than previous max versions.

A middle-pored sponge with a short wide pimpled structure. The Turbo has a 50° sponge and is therefore slightly harder than the standard Z1.
DONIC has produced a more dynamic version of Z1 with Bluestorm Z1 Turbo. The sponge of Z1 Turbo is slightly harder but with the same middle pore size. An almost perfect combination with the very thin high-tension pimpled rubber and the highly valued dynamic blue sponge. The perfect weapon for uncompromising attackers.

Used MAX+ on the forehand side of a Chinese-penhold blade.
The speed on drives and smashes is fast enough that you'd never guess this was mounted on a 5-ply blade. The spin is high too. And best of all, short serves and stops are easy with tons of spin. That's probably because the sheet is thin — on its own the sheet doesn't bounce much, so a thin cut barely sends the ball forward at all. At first that caused a lot of mistakes for me. But the moment the ball reaches the sponge, it flies off with tremendous force. So the fast/slow contrast is really distinct.
You need decent ball touch and swing speed, but once you get used to it, this rubber delivers. That said, it's a rubber with a clear love-it-or-hate-it character, but if you can get it cheap for around 4000 yen, why not try a high-end rubber like this at least once?All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Good points
- Soft for a 50g rubber; if the weight doesn't bother you, control is excellent!
- The ball grips well and holds onto the sponge, so control, stability, and speed in topspin rallies are top-notch!
- It doesn't spin automatically on its own, but in the end it reminded me a bit of Tenergy 80.
- Counter-drives near the top of the bounce were easier than I expected.
- Being hard at 50 degrees, it was less affected by incoming spin than I imagined.
- It feels like the JP 01 Turbo's control with extra speed added on. With the Z1 Turbo you get plenty of speed to take away your opponent's time. If anything, it leans toward a rally-oriented rubber.
- Excellent value for money.Things that bothered me
- Spin is easy to generate, but the ceiling is low. The average spin level is probably around Tenergy 64.
- For raw spin amount, the heavier, harder M1 Turbo is better.
- Because the sponge is hard, pushes and stops aren't impossible, but they were a bit prone to overshooting or double-bouncing. Cutting the ball is also hard.
- Against backspin, drives were more prone to netting than I expected unless I hit them solidly.
I'd use this on my backhand if I were to use it.

Red, max thickness, used on the forehand of a Chinese penhold. Backhand is Bryce High Speed.
It's a rubber that really flies, so it shows its strength when you drop back from the table. Over the table, if you flick early
and turn it into a topspin rally, you can dominate.
That said, this assumes you have good impact on the ball, so if your impact and footwork aren't developed yet
, it's hard to handle.
Serves tend to go long, but on the flip side, long serves are very easy to produce.
It seems to suit penhold players more than shakehand players. The short-block technique is hard to do with this rubber, so a Chinese penhold style might be a better fit.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'd been using Tenergy up until now, but the feel was too soft for me, so after watching a certain YouTube channel I bought this instead.
The ball just carries an unbelievable amount — it doesn't make sense how far it goes. Looking at the hardness rating it seems hard, but I'd say it's neither too soft nor too hard. The ball also draws an arc rather than flying flat, so chiquita and drives are easy to execute. You do get spin on drives and chiquitas, though not as much as with Tenergy, but for a high schooler's playing style it wasn't something I really noticed. Serves also feel easy with no quirks. Even in topspin rallies, the ball bounces and dips nicely, and it doesn't lose out to the opponent's spin, nor does it lose out on counters.
It's not specialized in any one area — it's simply an all-around rubber.
At this price, the performance is more than enough. I think it's a great step up from something like Rozena or Fastarc G1, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to use Tenergy but finds it too expensive.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I bought it on Amazon for around 3,900 yen.
The first thing I noticed using it was the grip, or rather how strong the sheet is. It doesn't lose to the opponent's spin, so the ball never dropped into the net. Also, the chiquita where you brush the top of the ball (a backhand topspin over the table) was the easiest I've ever found with any rubber I've used. With other rubbers the ball often wouldn't clear the net properly, but with this one that's never an issue — it clears nicely every time.
If I had to list downsides, it flies quite a bit so you need to hold back a little or you'll overshoot, and the spin is about average.

The first thing I noticed when I hit with it was that it's super hard.
And it flies, so when I hit it with my usual feel it went way too high and almost hit my opponent in the face lol
It flies that much on topspin, so you should aim forward.
Against backspin, when it bites the ball right, the speed is insane.
People told me they couldn't see it lol
Like I said, since it's hard, it doesn't lose to the opponent's ball, so blocking is easy.
It's strong on both offense and defense, so it's an all-around rubber.
The short game is decent too.
Serves take some getting used to since it's hard.
Overall I'd say it works on either side, but it suits the forehand better.
When it really bites, the ball is deep and fast, so opponents get pretty discouraged lol
Counters also don't lose to the opponent's ball, so they go in a lot.
