Whether you can really master it is another question... beginners can technically use it, but I'd worry about whether they can really grip and control the ball with it. This is for people who'd love to buy something in the Fastarc line but are put off by the price. Recommended for intermediate players.

If you ask me the real appeal of this rubber, it has to be the heavy, fast topspin drive. The amount of spin is absurd, and even though the sponge is thick, you can still sink the ball into it properly. And of course, since the sponge is thick, you get speed too. The only other rubbers that have both of these at such a high level are probably Tenergy or G-1... Anyway, it suits pretty much anyone. From shakehand to penhold, from inverted to anti-spin and everything else... the fact that it has such a wide repertoire is probably one reason it feels "strong."

The amount of spin variation is the best of any long pips out there.
I'd say it's the No. 1 rubber a chopper should be using.
No matter what kind of drive comes at you, your chop lands on the table.
The push isn't all that fast, but
if you're talking about defense, its performance is godlike.

Yeah, I just don't like anti-spin. And this rubber I dislike more than any other. The way it puts a subtle bit of spin on the ball, the precision on blocks, countering off of that... basically none of my attacks worked against this rubber. But that said, this really applies to anti rubbers in general — they're hard to use. I think it's better to have tried anti-spin rubber once or twice before picking this one up.

It's similar to a SWAT. Anyone can use it. For the short game too, the flex you only get with wood makes the ball land solidly. Drives come out heavy and hard to handle. It pairs with any rubber - from tacky rubbers to variation rubbers like OX. Definitely worth getting one.
