    The performance really matches the price. The way it's not picky about which rubber you put on it feels close to a plain plywood blade. But it still has solid bounce. I tried putting on Bryce Speed, and it felt like the speed got boosted even further. And that's achieved with a simple design. Everything about it is easy to use.

    You can really feel the ball sink into the rubber. It's quite soft, so you need to make sure to hit all the way through to the core. The DF sheet grips the ball well, so it seems well suited to aggressive forehand play.

    I use short pips on the forehand, and the hardness of the blade really comes through in your hand. You can hit the ball with a simple combination of the rubber's bounce plus the blade's bounce.
    I haven't tried inverted on both sides, but I feel like this blade is a better match for short pips.

    It's soft. What was that 50-degree rating even about? The grip on the ball is outstanding, so if you swing all the way through, you can get a lot of power.
