This is a "grippy" type of blade.
The ball-holding is good and it generates plenty of spin.
As for speed, once the impact reaches all the way to the composite layer, it comes out plenty fast, so you shouldn't lose out on power even hitting from away from the table.
I'd recommend this to players who like to sink the ball into the rubber when they hit.
If you play a grazing, sheet-only stroke though, it basically becomes just a plain 5-ply blade, haha.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is a comparison against the Zhang Jike ALC (outer-ply), which I used until recently.
With the outer-ply version I had trouble controlling the ball when I got nervous in matches, so I bought this one. After practicing with Tenergy 05 and V20 on it, I really liked the grip on the ball that's characteristic of inner-ply blades. The feel was on the firmer side, but the grip was excellent and the feel overall was really great. I'd used an ALC inner-ply blade before too, and this one felt firmer than that, but it still grabbed the ball solidly. It also bounces more than the ALC inner without flying too far, which was another plus. Compared to the outer-ply Zhang Jike ALC, my forehand drives, backhand drives, and chiquitas all arced nicely and landed on the opponent's side of the table. I feel like I'll be able to swing with confidence in matches too.
I'd recommend this to anyone using an ALC inner blade who wants a bit more bounce. It's a great step-up blade from a softer inner-ply blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Since it has ZLC in it, the ball flies in a straight line and it bounces a ton. Control is a bit tricky, but it's a really great racket. That said, the color on the grip wears off pretty quickly. Even so, it doesn't affect the feel, so it's not a problem. Pair it with something like Dignics and you'll get plenty of arc too. Even if you back off the table you won't get overpowered, and you get a nice metallic sound too. Overall it left a good impression.

This is exactly the same as the old Innerforce ZLC.
The surface material and ply construction used are the same, so you can buy it with confidence.
Because the blade is bigger, you need a strong impact if you want speed on your power shots.
If you can't get the ball to fly with this, it becomes completely obvious that either you're not using your lower body properly, or you're arm-hitting with just your upper body, or your impact is lacking - it's a very honest racket in that sense.
It doesn't let you get away with being lazy the way an outer blade does, so it feels like the racket teaches you proper body mechanics.And with a strong impact, the ball doesn't drop.
Especially with plastic balls, I could swing through with confidence on my power shots.
Once you get used to it, even pulling a winner against backspin comes with rich spin and a metallic ping as the ball shoots across the court - it's addictive.
With outer blades the power control is really unforgiving, so you have to rely on the rubber for control, but with the Innerforce ZLC, controlling the ball with the racket itself was really easy.
The advantage of a big-bladed racket is that while it doesn't let you cut corners, it makes ball control easier.
And feeling the hardness of the composite material while still having that hold time on the ball is addictive.
This feel on contact is the best.

I was a user of the old Innerforce looking for a replacement racket when this one came out, so I bought it. The wood used for the top ply is different, so the feel is a touch harder, but the performance is pretty much unchanged. The blade is a bit bigger, so the balance point seems to shift toward the head.
It grips the ball well, and if you hit it solidly you get speed and spin. If you're looking for the old Innerforce, this racket will do the job. I'd recommend grabbing a lightweight one now while you can.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is the old Innerforce ZLC.
Even online, it's getting harder every year to find one in good condition, so if you're looking for the old model, this is the one.

Harder than the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce Super ZLC. Hard in a good way, the feel is great. The Super is a bit softer, with slightly more spin. For the finer details, check other people's reviews. It's impressive enough that I'd want people to buy both this and the Super and experience the subtle difference for themselves.
